Hello!
I'm driving a Peugeot 3008, 2017 GTLine but having some issues with my touch screen. It constantly shuts down and the Bluetooth never works. I've tried to update it, but when I used the Peugeot Updater Windows application, it only shows a map update for my car. I also tried the mobile application but it's the same. It says no update found for your car which I've seen a lot of people update their exact same vehicle. I'd be so happy if you could help me.
Thanks!

Let me have the VIN so I can see which system you have and if there is an update available. Also, what firmware version is the system saying you have installed at present?

Dear Marc, thank you for your help!
My current system version is: 21.08.87.32_NAC-r1
And my VIN is: VF3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
I also upload the information page in case you'll need it.
Thanks again for your time and help!

Ok, so this is a wave 2 system and that is the latest firmware available.
The latest map as of posting is Version 27, dates 27th May 2024

Hmm,
so, do you have any recommendations about my touchscreen problems besides the firmware update?
The Bluetooth doesn't work at all, the screen goes off constantly.

Unfortunately if it's starting to fail then it most likely needs a new Head Unit.
It's over 7 years old, so likely the internal memory is failing at a guess.

Re: Peugeot 3008 (2017-GTLine) Touch Screen Problem
Aw, so one more question then.
I had that exact problem a year ago, then I updated my firmware for the first time since 2017. And the problem went away, Bluetooth worked fine, and there were no shutdown problems. Then, several months later the problems came again and here we are. So, I know there is no newer update but is it possible to maybe format the firmware, or some kind of hard resetting, etc... I'm sorry that have no idea about software stuff, so maybe my questions might be stupid

Re: Peugeot 3008 (2017-GTLine) Touch Screen Problem
You can’t ‘format’ firmware.
The last time you actually updated the firmware, it’s possible that this may have written the updated files to different areas of the flash storage, but if the flash storage is out of good memory cells to write to you may be experiencing the same sorts of issues.
The cells only have a number of write cycles before they can’t be used any more and the system uses other cells, but if the flash storage is running out then problems occur.
If you were to try and rewrite the same firmware as that already installed (officially instructions tell you not to do this), you may worsen the problem.
Note you also have an outstanding campaign being flagged up regarding the timing covers, so I’d contact your dealer for the work to be done. It will be free.
