French Car Forum

hello.

so my C2 has this funny problem where the doors won't unlock by remote or button, the tailgate will, and all three will lock just fine, I can however unlock the car by key and open the drinker's side door from the inside.
I have searched for a couple days now (I hate the Ersatz the modern internet has become) and best I figure is either a...

I believe that this car has either the front too high or the rear too low.
The height Sensors at the rear are on each wheel arm rather than the Anti Roll bar.
(Nothing on the rear anti roll bar)
My Diagbox is too old for this model, it can see the suspension ECU but not the Body Height ECU or the Engine ECU.
Luckily I have an Autel Tablet that...

Newbie to the forum on the back of a few problems that have arisen since the weekend.

I've had a 2014 C4 1.6 HDi hatch for about a year which I've been really happy with. A terrific drive, great for long journeys, and excellent fuel economy. I've driven about 27,000 miles since I bought it last April. I had the factory recall through from...

Hello,

For around 2 years I've had Opel Corsa with 1.5 blue HDI engine which I think is in a lot of Citroens so I'm posting this here. There's no Opel subforum.

In these 2 years I don't think I've ever seen DPF regenerate. I'm driving around 40:60 city - open road.
Before Corsa I've had VW Polo 1.6 and he regenerated almost every week. I would hear...

Hi all,
Maybe someone knows, I'm planning to add FAP additive to my Citroen Jumpy(2015, VIN VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]) myself.

Does anyone know the best way to remove a plastic sill cover

My 2011 2.0HDi blew the 40A fuse and needes to get cleaned for carbon debree and LDS sludge. Now when I've depressurized the system and disconnected it from the lines and tubes and emptied it from LDS and tries to turn it with the rotor or armature the pump is very hard to turn. I've taken into consideration that the motor itself is hard to turn....

I have a C5 Aircross hybrid 1.5 2025, purchased in Feb 2025, tomtom working fine until October, then disappeared, contacted Citroen help desk to be told they had checked and found that my Car's Telematic Box was fitted knowing, due to chip shortage it would need a software update to work properly and that I would have to wait until a solution was...

Hello All, I have just bought a replacement driver door window regulator OEM # 9222GN for my 2013 Citroen C4 B7 hatchback. I bought it off an Ebay supplier, but all my research shows this item to be compatible with my car. However, the old item is held in place by 3 bolts which locate into weld nuts on the assembly, whereas the new item has studs...

I need to remove the lower side plastic scuttle to straighten the useless jacking front jacking point. It seems to be held by a small 1mm high nib which should allow a firm wrench sideways to free it from the car’s main body. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Good day, I have a Citroen Picasso PT130, first registration was in the year 2017. We drive on the right hand side, steering wheel on the left. I've been told the most likely location for the climate blower motor is on the passenger side, under the glove compartment, but I cannot get a clear enough visual to confirm. Does anyone know? And should I...

Hi I have a 2007 Citroen C4 1.6 16v and it has developed a hesitation when accelerating particularly noticeable in 1st and 2nd gears when it hesitates for a fraction of a second. I have managed to extract the old thermostat from our 2.0 HDI spacetourer but the hose to the right hand side has gotten slightly damaged (the one with the plastic clip with two opposing legs for release).

Does anyone know what hose this is and where it runs to? Ive got a horrid feeling it's going to be blooming impossible to get it out...

Hi all.. another Adblue issue. Van as per title converted to camper over 1 year period, so little used. Took for service couple of months back, not sure if Adblue topped up.
Away on trip and got check Adblue system message but not the no start in X miles message. Drove maybe 25 miles further seemingly running normally.
I've checked with my local...

Hi, I have the following issue on my Citroen C4 1.6 HDi year 2008 with 6 speed piloted gearbox (CFC300P ECU). The car is 210000 km and I'm not sure if the clutch has been replaced yet.
The issue is that the car takes a lot of time to release the clutch when changing gears. So if I'm driving in automatic you can notice the engine rev up as soon as...

Apologies if there is a separate section for listing this:

I've just had my DPF professionally cleaned (off car) by a small friendly company in Aberdeenshire.
All in cost was less than £150

This was the second genuine DPF my car has had fitted (stamped date code was 2012).
TBH it wasn't actually all that dirty, but as I had to remove and...

I have 2024 C5 Aircross with motorised tailgate
Tailgate keeps coming down by accident and I attribute this to poorly design kick sensor

Hi,
Citroen referred me to the dealer with two item numbers for my ec4

Could anyone say what are they about?

Item number: 41212 or 39897

Thank you for your help

Just some notes on Airbag fault caused by pre tentioner plug, the problem seems to have been sorted.

Car: Xsara Picasso 2007
Fault: Airbag warning on dash
Solution: unplugged and re-plugged plug on passenger seat belt pretensioner yellow plug.
Tools: Torx T40 for seat, Diagbox for diagnostics maybe for clearing faults, although I have read...

Hi.
Anybody knows what is the correct material in wet timing belts in PSA 1.0 & 1.2 cars (Citroen C3 1.2 81 kwh 2018)?

I need to change it (as part of my engine rebuild) and I am not sure if the parts dealers still sell old belts (manufractured before ~ 6/2022).

Like you know PSA develop new timing belt material and change oil 2022(I would...

Hello! Unfortunately my C4 Picasso passenger mirror has malfunctioned and stopped folding both with the key and the mirror buttons.

Roughly at the same time, it started showing random temperatures and now suddenly doesn't show the temperature at all, the screen reads - - C°.

I'm more worried about the temperature sensor, because at the moment...

Hi, I'm in NZ so don't need a DPF on my car. I am trying to disable the DPF and eolys fluid using the Galletto 1260 EOBDII cable.

Problem is that when I plug the cable in and try to read the ECU Data with the included software it doesn't complete the operation. I have tried all the different drivers and the only 2 that get to 50% before giving...

Hello there! Hopefully someone can help.

I have a 2015 Grand Picasso C4 1.6 Diesel and there is a new whine that I can hear especially loudly if my head is just above the central rear seat. The whine follows the revs a bit and is most prevalent when the engine is idle.

I think it might be the in tank fuel lift pump (???) as if as a test I pull...

My Citroen Relay 2.0 35 Enterprise BlueHDI has been in storage for a while and I am now getting it ready for the mot but I have some fault codes which i need help sorting.

VIN VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

1999 HDi (110) Running OK until recently, had 3.5mm high pressure lines burst and patched, then auxiliary belt shreded after only 3 years and 14K and now another Core Plug has corroded (looks like external corrosion) and leaked coolant so I believe this might have led to the engine cutting out a couple of times after...

Hi folks,

I am having troubles determining engine, or to be more precise the RPO of the said engine on my Citroen C4 (2022). The dealership/authorized service pulled out information where I can see that my car has a DV5RC/EU63 engine with a serial number of 10 Q3DP 1343227, but from what I can find online, the recommended oil for that engine has...

I was just wondering if someone can confirm how adblue messages are normally displayed on the c4 grand picaso/spacetourer MK2, specifically the one with the e-ink speedo display.

Hi everyone! 2007 C4 Picasso, 1.6 HDI MCP6.
When you lock the car, it flashes once after about a minute, and then turns on the headlights about another minute later. Now, if the door is open, it turns on the headlights anyway. It doesn’t indicate that the driver’s side door is open. I’ve replaced the following, but the problem persists: BSM, BSI,...

For various reasons I'm swapping my fuel tank in my 1.9TD Dispatch

The main reason is it can never get the last ~20 litres from the tank - I'd previously replaced the sender with no change, so it must be the tank itself. In fact when I drained the removed tank completely last night and put the sender in, it still read as 1/4 full. Witht he sender...

My DS5 was written off the other week today I got a new to me C5 aircross on a 20 plate. Everything was fine until I got home. I went to put the child seat in and noticed the eear window on the passenger side half way open. I tried to close it and it goes up and then back down. I checked and there is nothing in rails like debris etc, sprayed wd40...

Feel so dumb =P~ I put one of my windows near wide open, now it won't go up.

Only the down button now results in a click sound, but no motor life. Up buttons do nothing at all.

Is there any chance that it's just a fuse has gone?
I'm also really hoping that there's a failsafe that allows the window, in this state, to be manually released and...

Hi,
I know there have been other threads about this, but hopefully this is worthy of a new one...
I've tried to diagnose a inoperative radiator fan on my 1.6HDi 16V. 2005 plate. Xsara Picasso Exclusive with fully automatic climate control.

Hi, my C4 Grand Picasso 1.6 hdi manual 2014 has a start stop not working problem. The cars starts and runs perfect. But when it starts it flashes up with a engine fault and the service light and eco off is on the dash all the time.

I've swapped the battery change the capacitor but its still the same. See photo of fault right side....

Hi.
I couldn't find a descent Relay van forum, and as I am a member on here for cars, thought ide ask here.

I fitted a new wiper motor 6 months ago to my 2008 Relay 2.2 hdi van, and they have been working ok. Today, I noticed that if I use any stalk position except fast, the wipers move, stop, move stop, bit by bit, all very spurious movements....

Hello fellow forum members

I have a Citroen C3 1.6 BlueHdi 100 from 2016. Over some time I have noticed that my car uses more and more oil.

I have checked for oil leaks but I could not find any. It is using about 6 lines on the oil dipstick after 10000 km. I have checked the intake to the turbo and there is a small puddle of oil on the bottom...

My daughter has a 2010 C3 Mk2 1.6 VTI Auto.

Recently, the cooling fan started coming on when she stopped/parked up the car. It stays on for about 5 mins and then goes off. I have driven it the last couple of days and this also seems to apply when driving. If you come to a roundabout or traffic lights and have to stop, then the fan quite often...
