I need a new siemens injector for C5 2.0 HDI 138. One of the existing injectors has too much back flow that reduces fuel pressure while starting when engine is hot.

Any recommendations for a place where I can get reconditioned but tested injector? A new one costs 300 Euros, which seems steep for an old car.

just picked up a c2, 1.1 petrol, car was running fine when i had it and drove it home was told there was a newish battery in it.
well went to start it this morning and a no go engine is turning over but just not starting , can it be battery .
on an other note done a key fob repair and now this as stoped locking and unlocking the car changed...

A friend of mine has one of these, seems like the timing belt has skipped a tooth or two. Still runs on 2 cylinders. Injectors have been checked ok. Suspect no compression on one or two of the other cylinders.

I have bought a lexia device and have tested all the tests with it and all works apart from the front wiper test. It does nothing when activated. The wipers do work though from the steering wheel as normal. Wondered why the lexia test won't make them work. Rear wiper works from the lexia test.
Anyone have any ideas?

I have C5 2.0 HDI 138 2005. The temperature outside is 30 degree C, and after a short drive and at idling the coolant temperature was around 90 degrees. I revved a bit (3500 rpm) and got the temperature to 100 and the cooling fan kicked in and the idling temperature was maintained around 93 degrees after the fan cut off.

Bit of a cock up on my part today. Replaced the high pressure fuel pump in my 2011 1.6 DS3 THP since I was getting some incredibly low pressures.

Any way all was going well until I accidentally snapped the clasp for the fuel feed into the high pressure pump i.e the other fuel line not the high pressure line.

Pump and tank Paddgo Inergy, without bag, tank with urea.

I've done a bit of reading, and it seems like I might need a certain kind of special coolant, rather than generic off the shelf stuff?

For what its worth the car has red stuff in it now, but I have no idea what type/brand etc.

My C5 has an intermittent message something like 'Chance of depollution Filter Blockage' and 'Depollution System Faulty'.
Drove car for a mile no problems, stopped a couple of hours, driving back engine cut out, pulled over switched off, then restarted engine straight away, went about 20 Meters then engine cut out. Had to repeat till I got home....
