Hi

I have a Citroen C2 VTS code that I need to replace the alternator on and do the timing belt and water pump, I have noticed that the exhaust block pretty much all access to the alternator and I'm just wondering if anyone has any tips on how to replace it without taking off the exhaust the car is completely stock with its original exhaust so...

Hi all I have 2019 Citroen dispatch need to know where the lock pins are on gear stick and gear linkage diagram would be helpful. I’ve explored internet can’t find anything.

Good day,
I’ve been trying to tackle a permanent fault diagnosed as B00D5:67 with so far no luck, it seems to be a communication issue, not coherent etc, the roof consul has been replaced, warning lights were not working, but still problem persists. Can someone recommend an independent with a PSA Diagbox in the Bournemouth/ Poole area or as far as...

Hi,
Firstly to anyone who takes the time to read and reply and offer any form of help or advice to my issues, I really appreciate it, thank you.

Going into revers is fine but you have to remember to push lift-ring down for forward gears, presumable it should return its self once it passes through neutral? I've tried lubricating it no luck, its definitely just the ring its self as disconnecting the cable makes no difference ie it still sticks in the up position How do you remove gear knob?

So trying to check why my wing mirrors were not folding, and in testing I accidentally shorted the folding mirror connector at the passenger door. Now my car won’t start !!!

I’m getting multiple error codes on diagnosing saying some ECU cannot be connected :( too, abs failure, engine fault, canbus cannot be connected.

I’ve disconnected the...

Hello everyone,

I bought a set of 4 cameras(front, back and both mirrors) to have them installed on my Citroen C5 X7 2.2 HDi 173 CP 2009 EXCLUSIVE on which these cameras (360° Bird View) could be connected to an aftermarket android Head Unit. The only problem is that I can`t find the Harness Grommet to which wires are passing from cabin to the...

2004 Citroen Berlingo 1.4i TU3JP Engine noise: Is this detonation knock or rod knock?
Lexia says normal temps (engine/coolant and IAT), no DTCs, normal MAP values.
The noise was noted about 6 weeks ago, and seems to be getting worse every week.
Changed from 95/E10 to 98/E5 but it made no difference.

Listen to the noise here:

I have a very weird problem, which may or may not have anything to do with the car itself, but I though to ask in case someone had a similar thing happen to them.
Basically whenever I connect my phone to the car either via cable with Android Auto or via bluetooth, my calls (phone calls, whatsapp, teams, any call) gets immediately forcibly...

Today, the Christmas tree glows for the first time. Only 550 MI.
After restarting the car, everything seems normal. No errors. No lights..
I was to the dealership. No updates yet..

I recently acquired a 2014 C4 Seduction (hatch). I'm trying to locate a clean 12v power supply that I can tap into in the boot. I tried the reverse lamp and the BSI complains after a few minutes with the car running. I found an unused harness below where higher trim models have a 12v accessory socket but none of the 6 pins seem to be live. Any...

Hello, my father got gifted a 2003 C5 some time ago, it was some issue with the original engine that made it leak oil into the combustion chamber. So we have changed that, and we have almost got it road legal, the only issue is that the generator has stopped charging. It worked according to my dad when he got the car, but now it has stopped...

Hi guys,

I would like to get some opinions about what i am dealing with at the moment before I take my van to the garage.

For a while I could smell burning oil now and then but ai couldn't find a source.

Today I open a bonnet and noticed that rubber cover on the top back end of the engine is in pieces, it does look like its melted.

Sny idea...

My 2009 C5 X7 has suffered a failed AC pipe. It's a two-part pipe from the compressor low pressure side, part numbers 6477E9 from the compressor and 647774 from the bulkhead (with the charge port). These both appear to push together and stay attached. Except mine blew apart one day, despite the AC not having been run for some weeks. The system had...

Howdy from the USA!

I'm a mechanic at a vintage car shop, and I am the closest thing we have to a French car specialist. I am currently struggling with a repair on a 1972 DS Citromatic, and hope someone has some ideas.

Car came in due to a mild front end collision. We are currently in the process of repairing and refinishing the right front...

It's not that my Cityroën C4 Grand Picasso 2.0 BlueHDI from 2016 is unusally, but after I have realized that my pump-module in the adblue-tank IS beeeeeped , I do need to find a supplier in EU (preferable do to tax and shipping) which sells complete refurbished adblue pump-module with good warranty.

Posting this in case it saves someone else from wasting a day trying to repair their folding mirror. I will attach as much information as I can to help people.

I looked everywhere over the last week or so for hints on how to repair a folding mirror. I found some information, but nothing very in-depth or specific to the C4 Picasso Mk2.

Hi.
I have been having problems to find the correct maf sensor part number.
My wiring loom also has a 5v power supply to sensor.
Should it be 12v?
Can someone please let me know the correct part number and the pin out functions and voltages for the 4 pins.
All help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
Harry

I have been having an issue since I acquired my car a couple of week ago. reluctant and sluggish starting. 1.9 TD 1998
I took it to Chevronics a Citroen specialist, they replaced the glow plugs and repaired the battery terminal . checked the heater circuit, found a couple of air leaks in the pipe system, finally they feel that there is an air...

Good morning,

I’m hoping someone who knows more about these engines can help. I have an intermittent P0087 code come up in my Berlingo 1.6 HDI 75. It tends to only be when I boot it.

I’ve read some bits in this and other forums, the fuel filter had been changed within the last 200 miles or so. Now I’m suspecting the fuel pressure regulator, the...

As the failure of the blower motor controller seems to be a recurring theme within C5 X7 circles, may I ask if anyone has any experience of replacing the Mahle Behr ABR 21 000P controller ( which appears to be somewhat rarer than hens teeth or rocking horse droppings!) with the Hitachi version, number 132514?

Cost is currently around £49.20,...

Hi folks- is it possible to replace a sidelight bulb without dismantling the entire front bumper etc?

Hi all
I have a berlingo 2012 B9.
The turbo has stopped working but vehicle still runs and drives, just a lot slower on pick up. Also noticed that the temperature on the van now stays around 75.
No smoke or rattles etc. only fault that came up was P0113 Air intake temperature sensor 1 circuit high.

Hello everyone,

I'm planning to completely refurbish the front suspension on my Citroën DS5 to make it feel smooth and silent again :)

Hi Folks, question re Citroen DS3 2012.

Both my wing mirrors don’t fold out - I can adjust glass using controls, I can manually push out and then they fold back. They just won’t open with key or button.

Did have to change the passenger door recently after buying it from a scrap yard, but plugged all connectors in.

Driving me mad!

Thank you

Hi people, im looking for the parking ecu on a GP 2014 mk2 but cant find any pics as to the location of it. If anyone can help i would be very greatful. Many thanx in advance

I was curious, does recirculation mode in the C4 Grand Picasso MK2 bypass the cabin pollen filter?

It seems that some cars do and some do not. So I was wondering if anyone with access to technical drawings or understanding of the air flow pathways knew what the case was with the MK2 C4.

Hi, i am just wondering if anybody has had an issue with the semi auto driving with the lane keep assist, I had a 2022 shine plus model and it stayed in the lanes and turned automatically on the motorway. I have now changed to a brand new Ec4 Max which should have this feature but it doesn't work, citroen says they can't find a fault, the lane...

Ok I’ve had a fault code pop up few times P0463 the first relates to incorrect fuel tank level sensor high input and the other is U0422 which I presume is BCI telling ECU there an incorrect reading. This became a regular occurrence every few starts. Now I located the area, took out back seat and found the fuel sender bay was absolutely filthy, so...

Hi all,
I have a question for fellow C5 X7 3.0 HDi 240 (DT20C) owners.

Does anyone perform oil changes by extracting the oil through the dipstick tube instead of draining it through the sump plug?

I'm mainly interested in real-world experience:
How much oil can actually be extracted?
Has anyone compared the extracted volume with the amount...

Hello everyone.
I just joined this forum to ask for some advice regarding a 2014 C3 Picasso.

The daytime running lights don't come on. I checked, in order:

1) They're enabled from the menu on the display.
2) I bought a new pair, and they still don't come on.
3) Just in case, I tried applying 12V directly to the headlight, and it comes on.
4)...

I have a question, has anyone encountered this before?

TU5JP (NFU) engine, I change the oil regularly every 10,000 km including the filter. I use Total Quartz 9000 5W-40.

It has happened to me several times that the drained oil is not the classic black, but has a distinct reddish-brown to reddish colour (see photo). When I drained the oil and a...

Hi Folks. Exec 2.0. Hdi. 140 hp.

Drives fine most of the time but every now and again if you drop below 1500 rpm it won't accelerate if you put you foot down hard - gently and it will. If you are going to slowly it 'shunts' until you release the throttle, too slowly and it will stop but the engine doesn't just goes to tickover. It starts first...

Hello everyone.

I have a 2006 Citroen C5 II with the 1.6 HDi engine (109 hp)

Currently, the Air Conditioner is not working, it just does not blow cold.

I checked refrigerant pressure and it is very low (as in almost empty).

However, after connecting the Lexia scantool, I get the following errors:
F994 - Air conditioning compressor clutch...

Hi all, sorry if this has been covered before, but in order to get access to change the shocks and upper mounts I had to remove the wiper arms and scuttle.

To make life easier put wipers in service position, marked them and removed.

Fast forward many seized and ground off bolts requiring replacement, things took much longer and the weather has...

Hi,

I had the roof on my C3 pluriel fixed by a pluriel expert. The issue was the well-known cable/gear-issue.
The roof was working for a few months but after disconnecting the main battery to install a stereo and heating for the side mirrors the roof stopped working.
When turning the knop to control the roof I can hear the relay (single click)...

could anyone tell me which one is the RPO number please.

Very excited to get some use out of this car and glad to see there is a...
