2016 Berlingo screen stuck on Citroen logo

The back story; Battery was draining when vehicle left for more than a few days without running. This turned out to be a fleet tracker system that had been left in when I purchased the vehicle. Now successfully removed along with the parasitic drain it was causing.
Unfortunately one of the jump starting sessions seems to have messed up the infotainment system. It never gets any further than the Citroen logo now. The screen is touch sensitive approx. 7 inch with three manual buttons above it - menu, +vol, -vol.
Tried Citroen who said it would be £175 for a diagnostic check followed by further charges which they couldn’t predict!
Already tried the thing where you leave the drivers window open, wait 3 mins, disconnect battery etc.
Any help with this would be much appreciated. Thanks.

The touch screen on our 2019 308 last year would only show the Peugeot logo. I tried a few things that did not help and took it to the dealer. They tried uploading the software to no avail and it needed a new radio. Very expensive, I think it was about £1500 inc all the diagnostic work. Their most recent charge for a diagnostic is about £160.

I don't suppose you know what version of firmware was fitted to the unit?

Sorry, no idea what the firmware version is.
