At the moment, the best method I've found for removing the spheres is using a chisel (at least in my case 😉). I've already replaced 6 out of 7 spheres, and soon I'll try to remove the last one — the central sphere.

it would appear i cannot source the pipes located in the central tunnel which carry the handbrake / parking brake cables.
