Prior to taking the Spanish MOT, our beloved nearly-30-yr-old car needs a few things sorting. One obvious task is to replace a completely broken inner boot and a worn but not broken outer boot on the short drive shaft.
To do that I've drained the gearbox of oil, and because there's also wear on the inner boot of the long drive shaft, I thought...

I have a C4. I banged the driver's door shut and now it won't open from the outside handle. Opens fine from the inside. I assume I've damaged something but when I took the panel off couldn't see anything out of place. Any ideas please? When you pull the handle it feels like the last few cms are stuck which prevents it from opening. Thank in advance

I have just bought a 2012 C4 Mk2 1.6 HDi and found the main beam dont work.

Upon diagnosing using Diagbox, I got the following codes.. please can someone help.

B113A 11 - Left Main Beam fault (short circuit to earth.

B1139 11 - Right Main Beam fault (short circuit to earth)

Bulbs appear to be fine.

Also found some additional codes...

I have just bought a 2005 xsara picasso, the a/c was not working so I had it regassed, it worked ok when I left the garage, however it stopped the next day, firstly, any ideas why this would happen and secondly does anyone know where the fuse for the a/c would be? T.i.a.

In the 18m I've had this C5 there has always been a front left tyre not monitored warning each time I drive (after a mile or so)

Yesterday I swapped the wheels front to rear to even out the tyre wear and today I travelled 30 miles without the warning.

In fact pressing the check button showed that all 4 monitors are working....

just drive a 2018 160hp relay, only 68k miles, drove nice but there was a “Faint” high pitched noise, it’s not loud and goes away when clutch depressed

im wondering if it’s clutch, maybe release bearing noise (not gearbox)

clutch was smooth and light, gearbox felt smooth

Hi, I am doing research to retrofit the electric tailgate in my C5AC, I got some of the parts, and in the meanwhile before buying the tailgate struts that are the most expensive, wanted to know if someone has done something similar here? I see that parts are similar as in C4 Picasso b78, 3008 and sure some more.

I measured the voltages at the plug that goes into the fan, please see attached file for results.
The results surprised me as I expected the fan to run top speed at 12v and then see reduced voltages as I set fan speed controller to lower speed settings.
I'd also add that when it was on the workbench (sounds grand, I mean top of my freezer really)...

Hi, I have now huge problem with engine code P2279. It seems to be coming, no matter what I do. There is no engine light, but car goes some kind of safety mode, when cooling fan is on at full speed all the time. Then when I read codes, there is P2279. Then I erase the codes and 50-300km is fine. Then it appears again.

What is the difference between OEM 4249.K0 vs 4249.K1 (c5 x7 2008)?
One motorfactor says it's K0, the other says K1.
They have the same specs as far as I can tell, just K0 is heavier?
Is the K1 a newer version?

Tried to order g33 coolant from Citroen today to be told it has been discontinued.

After some research a few months back G30 is very similar to G33 but if I remember correctly they cannot be mixed.

Does anyone know an alternative source for G33 ?
