Hello,
So this is the diagnosis codes I got done using an X Tool D8W for my Citroen C4 Grand Picasso.
I had a BSI reset yesterday too, but the parking assist error came back as soon as I reached the end of the road. Only once and hasn't happened on any drives this morning.
I took it to Kwik Fit for a battery test and they showed me the battery test and was a good battery said it looks new and no need to replace.
So best best now, auto electrician or Citroen direct do you think?
Thanks
Adam

You haven't included the codes!
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Unless you have an autoelectrcian who specialises in Citroen I'd go for the Citroen specialist. It looks like you may have a faulty multi plug into the ECU and a faulty parking sensor. Best to have a diagbox analysis for more specific information.

What's a faulty multi plug? Shame there are no Diagbox specialists near me
.
Costly fix do you think?

We have a member on the Wirral with diagbox and he may be able to help, have a look at this list: viewtopic.php?p=509922#p509922
Be sure to read the introductory paragraphs and see how you get on.
A multi plug is a connector which plugs into a unit, in this case the ECU, and connects multiple wires to it.

Re: Electrical Issues - C4 Grand Picasso
Is the car running and starting normally without any problems ? Is the only fault you have noticed the parking sensor fault - if so your printout suggests the left front sensor is at fault or its wiring ?
It is usual to delete fault codes after noting them and then see what comes back in case they are old ones and no longer being generated. Was this done ?

Re: Electrical Issues - C4 Grand Picasso
Hello,
Yes the car is starting fine normally. I had the battery checked today at Kwik fit and they showed me their machine which said good battery. They said it looks new too.
The faults were cleared and a BSI reset was done, but after a few miles the parking sensor fault happened again, but hasn't happened at all today.
The rain sensor fault is hidden and doesn't show anything on the dashboard, but my wipers are in this position (see picture) is this normal?
The faults are only worse or usually happen when it's been raining.
The parking sensor fault literally flashes with a red exclamation mark at the front of the diagram of the car for a few seconds and then parking assist error comes up with sat nav directing me to nearest Citroen garage for repair. Baffling!!

Re: Electrical Issues - C4 Grand Picasso
Do the wipers work normally apart from where they park? have they always parked like this or just recently. Would be unlikey a raind sensor wouls cause the wipers to park incorrectly
If so this could just be a mechanical issue, the wiper arms can slip on the spindle. The most common causes of this is trying to clear a foot of snow off the windscreen with just the wipers or trying to operate the wipers when the wiper blades are frozen to the windscreen. Hopefully just a case of removing the wiper arms of the spindles & re positioning them.

I think it's only recently that they are in this position. Want me to take a video of them operating?

Re: Electrical Issues - C4 Grand Picasso
For the parking sensor, you could swap the inner left front one for the inner right one and see if the fault code moves - if so the sensor is likely faulty. The inner and outer sensors may be different if you need to get a new one.
