As an 84 year old male who has tinkered with cars for decades, this to me sounds a 'stupid question' but safety first I say, so here goes.

Where exactly is the Negative Terminal on my 2011 C3 Picasso VTR Plus HDi 1.6 Diesel. 58k - Please.

I would have gone for Pic No 3 myself.

I will shortly be removing the 'under bonnet Fuse box' plugs to attempt a clean of the Orange Plug lighting contacts which, due to water ingress have faulted in the connection to the o/s side lamps.

I will wait for about 30 minutes before working on the Fuse Box, as instructed so residual power has died down and then I believe it will be safe to work on.

Thank you Robert.

pic 3 is the negative jump start point, not the battery terminal once you disconnect the positive terminal (with the exception of the airbag system) you can work on the car immediately.
The negative terminal is under the plastic cover. Disconnecting the positive alone should be fine, just protect it from accidental reconnection

Many thanks to your good self wheeler, I may have misheard instructions that I should remove the 'Negative' terminal only hence my question on this Forum which you have kindly corrected me. Always wise to double check I always say. Kind regards...

It would be very difficult to even remove the negative terminal without first removing the positive
