My 2000 HDi has suffered an electric fault with both the wing mirror and window operation. removing the door cover revealed a broken switch connector to the mirror but the garage reckons there's a fault in the loom affecting the windows.
I've sourced a used door at a breakers but the guy can't see where to unplug the loom from the chassis...

If I turn on side lights - both side rears come on. When I press brake, only the pass side side lamp bulb brightens further.

The driver-side only remains at sidelamp brightness. It does not get brighter upon braking.
