Hello and thank you for reading this message.
Which tools are required for fitting new brake pads to a 2012 (KR12) C3 Picasso 1.6 diesel please? Are there specialist tools? And is the caliper retractor a standard one?
Thank you!

Front or rear? Does it have an electric handbrake?

Thank you for your reply.
All four brake pads require renewal.
Manual handbrake.

Fronts will just push in, just needs a std push back tool, or a G ramp. Rears will need screwing in, not sure if they are both RH thread or if one is LH on this, any of the readily available caliper push back kits on e-bay will do for this. This vid shows the process, but doesn't confirm if the LH side is LH thread - he tries the LH on the RH side and it doesn't work to start with...

There shouldn't be any electric parking brake on these.
As for the rear brake pads, the pistons are both screwed back ANTI-CLOCKWISE using the appropriate tooling.
