Citroen xsara ph 2 stop light
Hi, i have a problem on my Citroen Xsara Phase 2 yr 2005. The stop light blinks when the temperature reaches 80 degrees. The fans start spinning normally @ 90 degrees. Is it a sensor problem? Where is it located? The engine is not overheating

Re: Citroen xsara ph 2 stop light
Is it a single or twin cooling fan? Does the stop light flash when you switch on the A/C?
There are several different setups depending on AC, single or twin fans etc.
This is normally caused by either a faulty fan motor or relay/resistor.
When the temp sensor goes faulty you get random over heat warnings when cold or hot.
Best way is to monitor coolant temp on live data.
