I don't have knowledge of the Peugeot, but the issue of a loose connection is known with several makes of car.
I doubt the piece of plastic holding the cable to the floor will cause an issue with the air bag light, but an intermittent loose connection in the plug and socket almost certainly will. Check for a good electrical connection within. Look...

Just received the V11 road tax application in respect of the Berlingo, and notice that I can now tax it via the Internet or telephone, great!
It states that the DVLA will electronically check databases for
-a valid Vehicle Insurance (UK)
-a valid test Certificate (MOT) if required.
So at last, they can tell if a car is MOT and insured. Hopefully...

Probably not much in it. The vr6 has a bit more power but is heavier and automatic. It will be quicker higher up I expect where bhp counts more. Theres also the fact that the mk3 is commonly accepted as being the worst Golf and the zx will be far more fun to drive and handle better. However the golfs probably higher quality and specification etc...

Yes it does!! You will have water from condensation in the tank as well. Assuming everything else is o.k., no air leaks, etc, if it does start fill it to the brim with fresh diesel, then run it dry, and change the fuel filter as wall, before the next fill.

Just a general question, does diesel lose its power over time, kind of how petrol loses octane?
Got a car getting very difficult to start, engines just been rebuilt, pump timing is sound, as are glowplugs and injectors but the diesel has been sat in the tnk for near 4 months.

Told me 185/60s for the Volcane. But I'm nearly sure it takes 185/65s. And it recommended 215/45s for the Seat, which definitely sits on 225/45/17s!
I don't think KwikFit are all that bad (all of the time). This doesn't help improve their image though!

Being lazy I decided to go onto Kwik Fits website to price some tyres up for the AX (it needs 2) - I saw and advert in the paper yesterday with one of these buy one get one free offers and was trying to find which tyre fitters it was - anyway its not Kwik Fit.

Forget hydractive, it would have to be ACTIVA! strapped onto the chasis of the CX, nice big base to stick a 3 litre V6 onto. Magic bend lights and DIRAVI a must! Can we add hydraulic everything (windows seats etc) we might never find them in the scrap yard, but Citroen did tinker with them.
I guess we could have automatic rain movers from a C5,...

My fridge is now 25 years old - it belonged to my parents before me, went to manchester with me and came back to Preston.
Its made by Pifco and is a lovely fetching institution green inside.

My mates Xantia VSX began leaking LHM from the Acc sphere area, inspection revealed that the whole Accumulator/regulator was hanging in front of the motor supported only by the pipework and a couple of zip ties, reason being that the mounting bolts were snapped! all pipework was bent downwards too, perusal of the service history revealed a clutch...

Our continental cousins tend to pass CLODS on both sides, this has the effect of civilising them somewhat, my own pet hate is the busy executive types who form a procession in the teutonic car lane whilst using their mobile phones continually, observations have revealed that the teutonic lane tends to travel slower than other lanes.

It's amazing, they are driving along in their own little world, oblivious to the problems they cause for other drivers.
I am talking about the Centre Lane Owner Driver Society.

Any normal person with common sense only gets in the centre lane briefly, when they see that traffic needs to join the motorway,...

Hi all.
My father's 2000 (X) Laguna is due its second MOT, but a few months ago, the (electronic) mileometer ceased to function (no display at all!). This might be simple to fix, but given the problems the dealer had with the aircon last year it may not be so simple!
So the question is this: is it possible to MOT a car with no mileometer reading?...

That little 3 door Xsara Mk1 VTR has now been in with me for over 6 months and apart from a small blip a couple of months back (idel valve), has yet to play up . It's been so reliable that I've gone out and bought my self an new guitar after 3 years with out one. Nice Fender Telecaster shaped jap brand , also got a new amp as the last one was...
