I took a friend and his wife to Liverpool airport (70 mile trip) for them to catch a flight to Portugal for holiday.

When we got there my friend said he was really impressed how smooth the ride had been and he loved the leather seats.

His wife said she too also thought what a lovely car I had. She sat in the back...

Both bumpers could do with replacement but there not cracked enough to really warrant it, its the most basic model.

In terms of rust, it has surprisingly very little, went and got a replacement fuel tank as the one fitted was leaking, only a tenner to have and very easy to remove and replace at the scrappers.

also the corect ones ars serated on the under side to act as a locking washer,mind you dont turn the centre pole of the plugs when tightening the nut,as this will render the plug US(kn**kerd),this could be why the other brands die prematurely

You could report it to the local station, what will happen after that depends on the force or even the officer (more likely a civvy) you deal...

I crashed my Diesel Savanna last year and replaced it with a TD Xantia, which I thought was several groups higher. The combination of accident (the claim for which went 50/50) and a faster car seems to have knocked 30% off my premium with the same company.

Even they must now be taking their 5+ litre petrol V8's out of their pickups to swap for diesels... :lol:

I had a 2.5TD exclusive and it returned a regular 40+mpg on average. It had enough grunt to leave the beemers for dust and their owners looking shocked at the huge, dirty, thunderbird 2 styled monstrosity wafting past or away from them. Certainly the most comfy car I've had.

I read recently that there's a move to remove many of the speed humps in the UK as they are now becoming a hinderance to the emergency services. Obviously they will still be on private roads/land like car parks, but hopefully they won't be littering the roads for very much longer.
