diy water injection here
thinking about it for my hilux surf(19-25mpg)

Be careful if you have a Saab 900 (original style) They are expensive to repair. (Bitter Experience )

And it only takes 12 watts!!!!
Woohoo!!!!-I think he's violated every known law of physics and invented perpetual motion into the bargain!!
Let me see,it consumes less power than the courtesy light, yet gives you a 15bhp boost??? I might email him and ask if two put together will give me an extra 30 bhp.......

To make any progress at all in London you have to sometimes stop on a box junction, you would be stuck at the lights forever, otherwise.
I wonder how many of Kens exploding bendy-buses have got tickets for blocking box junctions- I see this all the time, they are too big to get across in one go!!
Parking tickets are now dished out by camera as...

Blimey, my 2cv is in the background of the last pic! Thought the Visa might be yours after seeing details at various points on the forum. I must be mad as I was drooling over the 652cc Visa!

Nice and it's older than my Fiat

reverse bleeding? pushing fluid up into the system?
Big syringe, from the chemist or similar, full full of fluid, attached with nice clear tube to system and slowly feed it up through.
Have used this method with car and bike brakes in the past with great success.

it just means no txt spk i think, and English rather than any other language!

Murray Walker strikes again.......!!!!!

Oh and if anyone here is 'rubenBX' let me know!

0.33 apparently...

Xant's got a really good write up in last weeks Sunday mercury (Birmingham paper) a few people pointed it out to me at work, made me quite proud!!!
Couple of people wanted a go in mine after reading it!!!!!!

Ahh bus drivers. The same rung on the evolutionary ladder as taxi drivers in my book...

I fyou get mega desperate i might be able to play at some time. Dont have a van but could pick one up off Salford Van Hire and do the dee, though im a bit of a way away from the lot of them in Liverpool! No points on the licens though!

Rather nice, and BIN price seems reasonable. Cannot figure out the bit about the Austin Seven - a very small car, and I think that Sir Alan would be upset about calling it whicker- work!

Zetec engine is different from a Zetec S..
Dunno anything about gasket change.. sorry..

Sounds nice - must be the seson to trade in low mileage diesels - how much???

I dont think they are legal unless theres someone in the other car or they are being recovered. There was a thread about it on my motorsport forum somewhere...

1 page down, states the legalities or lack of, basically only to be used to move a car to a safe place or by a registered recovery firm it seems

Looks fairly mint, shiny isn't it?
Are you sure you don't want another BX or a CX or somesuch instead?

How long is a piece of string? some injectors can go on for ever, others start smoking, dripping and generally misbehaving, good fuel hygiene, filter changes occasional injector cleaner, veg oil, unleaded etc could see em go on for a long time, as for the mazda belt its possibly time expired but 16k is very little.

I use paint to resize to the correct size its then a case of putting your picture on a site like geosites, photobucket etc then when you go to edit your signature link to the web address that your picture is on IE
eh voila. Hope this helps tris

It's a Pyramid scam!
Did you actually get a free ipod into your hand? Nope.

I would basically agree with your points Bernie,
Only problem is, unless you have big money to spend for somewhere out the way many countries are very similar.

Have you tried a halfords universal one? it fitted my 504.

It was a bit muddly....but I had some good walking boots

it's just a common word, nothing else
people keep saying it 'cause it sounds cool!

Y indeed!

Looks nice that Matt:-) You really should get another! I can see your eager

Blimey, dont want much do you vanny :-)
right, these are my understandings of the questions you have asked........
1. Valve guides should be checkable by eye and feel when you have the valve out, look at them, any visible wear spots? hold the head of the valve and 'feel' for lateral play, any more than nough to allow the valve to slide into the...

Well vangreen I hope you enjoy yourself, and have a successful event. That certainly will be a lot of 2cv's at one event, so it looks like you will be very busy.
I am looking forward to seeing the pictures of the event on the forum, if you, or another visitor to the show can post the details, for those of us who cannot make it to the event.

It's up against stiff competition from BMW, Mercedes, Audi - well, just about everybody really. Joe Soap isn't going to buy a Cit over one of those brands.
Shame really, it'll make a great buy in five year's time.

I would guess that the aerial is not well optimised for AM reception, being optimal for FM reception. Years back car radios always had a little adjustable trimmer capacitor to tune the aerial for optimal AM reception and this was always a very critical adjustment. I have not listened to an AM broadcast in the car for donkeys now so I don't know if...

Well it look's allwhite to me.

must admit i was slightly confused at how i might have got a ticket in Cmabridge last thursday when the car has been without an engine for over a month, though i'm slightly worried about the picture now! God knows what i'll do, i suspect i better just wait and see!

Red diesel is always overpriced when you buy if from a marina, because if you can afford to run a boat you can afford to be overcharged for your fuel.
Unless you're buying large quantities of the red stuff, you'll not get it cheap, if you knew a farmer you'd have a cheap source of red diesel but you've still got to get it to your boat. I do know...

imo you'll need 6 inches for topsoil as a minimum. If that is on top of rock or concrete, grass will dry out and go brown in a hot summer so 9 inches is better. If, however, you have clay and or soil then 6 inches will be ok. If you have loads of roots spray with a systemic weedkiller (Roundup?) and leave to die for 2 months before doing any...

Myself and another IT manager have set up a tekkie forum primerily for school IT technicians in Norfolk and Suffolk, but i know that there are a number of Tek Heads here so if you would like to join then please do.

I thought that dash was GS rather than GSA - so I learn something every day.
I'm amused that I can't bit - as I don't have the necessary feedback. Strange to exclude potential purchasers like that but I suppose he knows what he is doing! Bit like advertisinbg your car for sale at the roadside without a price!
I suppose its the usual vendor's...

Well, the legendary state of French roads had a bit to do with it I guess. Certainly if the tale of the 2CV design brief was to be able to carry a basket of eggs across a ploughed field is true!
In the early 50's Citroen had a policy of very free thinking on all matters of car design and allowed their top designers to go off in quite advanced ways...

Had one as a courtesy car recently, quite impressed with it. Didn't have any problem with the gearchange but it may be down to what you are used to.
Personally I hate the notchy gearchange I get on other cars (Fords mainly).
I take it that by new you mean 0 miles new?

Don't you know - a car is only a good car if its new? Its kept the motor trade in business all these years and many people even moved jobs to get a better/newer company car!
We're constant recipients of pity from some people as we drive old Citroens - and they then proceed to explain that they can't afford a good holiday and this and that because...

Its on the cable channels a lot, but I can't tell if they are new ones or repeats!!

The quickest and easiest route is M5, M4 bath then on to salisbury,
You'll be passing about half a mile from my house if you do that route !, i live near the bypass in Warminster

Brilliant idea and a very useful piece of information!
Have now added ICE to my phone book (all three of them!)!
Thanks

What about Andyspares? This forum tracks you, it means once you're logged in you don't have to re-log in every time you come back to the site.
Autotrader gives more search facilities to people who are logged in, so you get a cookie for the same reason.

Yes I watched it, the most irritating owner I thought was the bloke in the black VW Toureg. Even the campaigner who went around sticking fake parking tickets on the urban 4x4's I thought was ok. Its just for some reason the man and his wife in the VW that grated me.... Oh and the bloke with the Hummer, going on about global warming killing animals...

Yes, developed as a joint venture between Ford's money and PSA's skill.
My father drove a 1.6HDi Picasso hire car and he was not at all impressed. He owns a 2.0HDi 90bhp Picasso.

Ha! No way baby, he should carry on and get one. I sold a 2 year old Berlingo HDi and bought a 12 year old BX, so don't go asking me for sensible advice

And thus it begins again! A new bread of super useless thread created to take over the world!
Bet it gets the cut though (as it oughta!)
