Pug gear stick.

Post by Stuart McB »

My works has bought a new Pug 206 HDI 3 door 'sport' with all the bits on it [8D]. Nice looking car and goes quite well, but! what's with the wooden spoon stiring custard gear stick? no feel to it when changing gears. Never had a Citroen like this or any other pug come to think of it. It all works with out any grinding or obvious problems. Car drive fine and gears do change no probs but as I say there's absolutley no feel to the gear stick. Is it me or are pugs now built this way?

Had one as a courtesy car recently, quite impressed with it. Didn't have any problem with the gearchange but it may be down to what you are used to.
Personally I hate the notchy gearchange I get on other cars (Fords mainly).
I take it that by new you mean 0 miles new?
