It does make the car look distinctive, but you <i>are</i> going to <i>want</i> to clean under there <i>every</i> time you lift the bonnet. Perhaps you should have <i>just</i> painted the car black to match the underbonnet area [:)]

Let me see(quick math): 5 cans of paint for that bit makes around 20 for the whole car + 5 cans of varnish + some synthetic thinner, 2 more cans for that spot i missed under the wheel arch....

Actually on closer expection it looks quite 'neat' [:I], and im a tough nut to crack when it comes to 'modifying' citroens [:(!]

Here's the high resolution photos for an even "closer inspection" (around 600KB each).
Please note that the front grille was painted white and black (the chevron area), as was the radiator plastic cover (painted <i>in situ</i>).
You guys make me blush saying all these nice things [:)], makes one think it's all worth it after all.
