PHP CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619

by xantia_v6 » 21 Oct 2026, 21:49 » in Forum News, Announcements and Issues

First post

The forum was offline for an hour or so while applying the patches for this significant security weakness.

There is a possibility that some forum functions are broken, as I have not been able to do much testing.

Last post

It'll be reet!

Thanks for acting so promptly though reading up about this in more detail I think another patch will be due soon because a company called Chainguard broke an embargo with The PHP Foundation and released the patch 6 hours earlier thus giving hackers access to the patch before a dedicated deadline that had been agreed by TPHPF.

Disruption to Parts Service

As you may be aware, the consolidation of the old PSA to the Stellantis Group systems has resulted in both a merge of data tools and a requirement to migrate PSA accounts to Stellantis Systems.

This has caused some problems for organisations like ours and the Team are currently looking at the best way forward. This...

Handy units conversion page

by Xaccers » 10 Apr 2007, 15:14

First post

Wasn't sure where best to post this handy bit of info
Citroen provide a handy units conversion:

You can even download their converter and use it offline.

So if you ever need to know how many acres are in a hectare, or how many foot pounds are in a newton, it's a quick site to get to.

Last post

Quide handy - I generally use google for them 8)

Same here, not many people realise you can type calculations or conversions into the Google search bar and it will give you the answer. For example .

Insurance.....

by LeeDJC » 31 Mar 2007, 09:23

First post

I see from many people's sigs that they run multiple cars. What do you guys do regarding insurance? Do you have them covered under one policy, or fork out for multiple policies? Or do you phone them up when you want to drive another car and chop and change the insurance round?

The reason I ask, is that I've just bought an Activa Turbo, but...

Last post

Over the years I've actually forked the thick end of 5 main separate
policies (ouch - I know, I know!)

Of course recently, I've discovered a new trend where a few companies,
including MORE TH>N (who I'm now with) allow me multiple car insurances
with my same proof of no claims. I think they work on the logic that you
can't be driving ALL the...

Basically for the small amount of duty home users hand over, it costs HMRC more to administer, so it's cheaper for them to let us just use it.
If memory serves in Germany SVO can be used without having to pay duty.
Also there's the issue of the court cases etc trying to show that the goverment hasn't been living up to it's Kyoto promises.

A Big Salute to the Mighty Xantia!

Today I have been towing our caravan down to the New Forest. As yet the Activa is not equipped to tow so I used our old faithful Xantia TD.

What a day and what a car :) This is one occasion when the Hydropneumatic suspension really comes ito its own: From being able to drop the rear right down to aid hooking up and then the self-levelling when...

by CitroJim » 25 Mar 2007, 11:02

I have always set the option when posting or replying to have a new post alert e-mail sent to me. This has never been a problem in the past and has been extremely useful.

Clearly, recently, I have been far too busy on here and this morning I had over 100 such e-mails in my inbox :o

In clearing them out, I discovered several important e-mails...

done something similar myself.
Thinking I was being a clever flash so & so I had a alert sent to my mobile everytime I got a email. & it worked a dream - unit I got my phone bill in - usually £40PM - £225!

Rare Citroen Van

by RustbucketP6 » 20 Mar 2007, 09:26

First post

I work for Commercial Motor magazine - and came accross this unusual Citroen GS van photograph while searching through the archives.

I have to confess I didn't even know such a thing existed.
Does anyone know how many were built - or whether any still exist?

Last post

Like the BX van, the GS service van was very popular in Ireland but practically unheard of in the UK. They were very popular with vets and most would have had a fairly tough life. There are maybe three or four still knocking around in Ireland - the rust would have got most of them a long time ago

Here's a LHD one for sale - 4 grand: ...
