I don't have knowledge of the Peugeot, but the issue of a loose connection is known with several makes of car.
I doubt the piece of plastic holding the cable to the floor will cause an issue with the air bag light, but an intermittent loose connection in the plug and socket almost certainly will. Check for a good electrical connection within. Look...

Four bedrooms ,so house has a good amount of space.
In the picture above you can see a double garage.

Although on top of that it has this extra space.
A three bay workshop.

So space for everyone in the house.
Space in the garage for daily driver, and small jobs, and loads of space in the workshop for big jobs, and projects.

I've been with Autoaid for a few years now. They actually operate only a co-ordination office and call centre, actual recovery is farmed out to local firms.

Never had any complaints, covers me and my partner, and at last renewal was 37 quid a year. Bit cheaper than the AA.

Yes, all these things will need to be considered. The website isn't obvious about what their cut is, but I went through the listing procedure and it seems to be about 20%. As far as I know, the tax man isn't bothered provided you don't exceed a certain amount? Again I'd need to look into it properly.

I have some Kenwood speakers in the rear and front at the moment that were a direct fit to the existing car wiring loom but are crackling at volume.

Have a decent Kenwood head unit 4x50w wil so many setting.

Looking to replace the speakers and was looking for suggestions, what is the best to get taking in to consideration the car has factory...

Cars have different things, e.g. my Xantia has components (separate tweeter) in the front and co-axial in the rear (tweeter built in or 2 way). Personally I would go for components if they fit, so definitely in the front for you and check the rear. 2 and 3 way are just how many elements there are to a coaxial speaker, I prefer 2 myself and there...

I've seen many cars with these and their beam looks great, brilliant white and very bright.
My question is what causes HIDs to be dimmer than this? Is it the bulbs on their way out?

The colour of the light usually helps a little but as i have learned, they can go a bit weak when they are about to fail as i have had one fail on me... the day before it died it went purple-ish and then nothing...

Funny you should mention that, the ns had a pink tinge.
Most websites say Monty takes D2R bulbs which I ordered as replacements....

This new tapatalk is not so bad as first thought. I have just found out how to browse the forums which I could not do before. Tap the top of the screen on my Samsung in the orange bit and you get a drop down menu with the forums on it

I'm shortly to depart on the 605's longest run in my custodianship. 850-odd kilomètres in one day. :shock:

It's hot, humid as hell and the aircon doesn't work. I've packed spare durite, coolant, tools and even a spare alternator! Naturally, an ignition module too.

Seeing what the Mercedes Dealership in Munich had done, creative minds on the FCF may come up with some interesting images/ vehicles linked to the numbers.

Renault have a fair representation of numbers in their models. How about the 4 for a start, but Citroen do the the C4 of course, but can you find an interesting picture of a C4...?...

I'm looking for recommendations.

Given that breakers and other bods post bubble-wrapped bumpers all about the country every workday, there has to be a carriage firm (or firms) doing this at a sane price. In my case, it would be Bournemouth area to Reading or St Albans. You'd think this would be possible, door-to-door for £60 or somewhat less....

Normally I can't tell speed as the forums are fully local to me...

At least once a day though I do check how the forum is looking from a remote point...

Generally TalkTalk is OK and that's the ISP the forum uses to connect to the 'net.

The dream was of reassembling my 605 from its driveshaft rebuilds before sunset Friday.

Finished at half eleven. :shock: I'm utterly shattered, it's been a mongrel of a job and that's without UK corrosion into the mix.

how do i work out what halogen/xeon bulbs i have, one type is two straight prongs cap less,

i am looking into swapping these for LED equivalent

That's a good point. The one I found DOA had certainly been in stock a few years but then so had the replacement IKEA one which was fine...

I suppose I ought to test all my spares stock and see if any others have quietly died...

Of these brands, which is generally seen as making better cats? Quality, not price-wise.

This is for the non-Frog, which has a pair of precats on a tubular manifold, either the precats or last unit is failed badly. Genuine is insanely dear across the...

Just a word of warning - I ordered 4 Michelin Alpin winter tyres from these clowns, having seen good reviews and used similar firms in France without problems.

Oponeo managed to supply four tyres with 2011 manufacture dates - first and second quarter, despite their website stating they do not supply anything older than 18 months.

Currys' terms & conditions are quite clear - faulty or damaged goods can be returned (or collection arranged) up to 21 days following delivery, quite apart from your legal rights. I'd give their head office a ring.

Long story but the manager offered an exchange or replacement, but I had to go and collect as one wasn't available for delivery...

Having recently added a van to the family fleet of 2 cars I was astonished to find that even though both drivers have 10 years no claims bonus the premiums for van insurance were ridiculously high. In a nutshell the 2 cars are around £250 e@ and the cheapest online quote I could get for the van was about £650! Obviously I'm starting from...

The price of vans and their insurance in no way corresponds to comparable cars, to be fair to C.C. Flint they did mirror my NCB and with the first years bonus it will hopefully drop to a more realistic level. They even rang today to check my docs had arrived!
