the vendor is brave! offering a 3 month warrenty on an HP20 with 170k on the clock!
Lot of car for the money though and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't tempted!

True but not everybody knows the time-bomb is well and truly ticking by then...Chris570 wrote:the vendor is brave! offering a 3 month warranty on an HP20 with 170k on the clock!
Derry tempting indeed. Right spec. and colour... That's unusual...

It's maybe had a replacement gearbox. With petrol much cheaper now, that car could be really nice for someone who likes c5's, wants leather and auto. Mmmmm I know someone like that........................

How come I went and bought something, which if it works properly it will be ok, and then a week or so later there are two very different cars for sale and pointed out on the forum that I would like to go for? It's just bloody typical!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This would be almost the perfect car for me really. If I do have another C5 it will be an exclusive with leather and auto, and I do fancy a V6 for a bit of go. Same problem as I just stated on your blog Elma. I cant do distance just now. There will be others when things improve for me.elma wrote:I'd buy that over the Zx, ignore what I said on my blog.

I just missed a lot of good cars last year looking for Mrs Lexi's Jazz. It was a blessing however. After 4 months of searching I got an even better deal , price, miles and condition 20 miles from home. It could never have been bettered. A better car will come up for you somewhere.

If the fiesta is an easy fix, and I think it is, ti will do for a while. It will fulfill its brief being a cheap to run motor, and I did not want a big car again really.
