Re the 407 door seal issue and airbag warnings, after a few days of rain and testing with the hose, I gave up as water was still pooling on top of the bottom door seal and then running inside the car.

My solution was to put a few holes thru the seal with a leather hole punch tool which seems to allow the water to exit (the door seal gets squashed...

Am having difficulty finding a replacement battery for Lexia...

Tablet is a Fujitsu-Siemens Stylistic 5022D
Battery type is an FPCBP77 (Li-ion 10.8v 4400mAh), although larger capacity versions of the same fitting are also available (eg 7800mAh).

Hi All - I have the orange engine light on constantly on my 2003 206 Look 1.4 petrol - (with decent battery).
I bought a 'Streetwize OBD2 scan tool' from from Euro Car Parts.

The code reader instructions expected a display message 'C.A.N. OBD2' but I get 'SW OBD11' instead.
The tool refused to connect and issued a 'Link Error'.

Hello,

I've done some tinkering on the VTS and lost cruise control in fifth gear.
I've put a bit longer fifth gear to keep RPM's lower(~700), but now the BSI calculations are wrong so it won't engage cruise control in fifth(will in fourth).

Can gear ratio for fifth gear be changed using Diagbox?

My 1.6hdi 2006 C5 have developed worryingly hickups while driving. The car starts and drives without any other issues, and it have only happened about 15times so far over about a week of driving. And mostly between 60 to 90kmh. Once while accelerating at lower speed.
Today it occurred 3 times within 1km.

That is a generic code reader - some of the codes like that C1114 are not valid for your car and neither are the ones with the extra numbers:

I suspect your code reader can't interpret the data properly, but the extra numbers don't have anything to do with PSA codes.

I've got 2 of a similar spec in the barn, if you're intent on using it go back to XP, less memory required to do basics. Good as a Diag machine, checking emails, basic googling and a glorified MP3 player, though phones will do that better now, apart from the Diag!

My nieghbour asked if I could run a diagnostic sweep on his Berlingo 2 (56 plate) as he had the anti-Pollution warning message pop up for a few days.

I connected my Diagbox (7.76) to his car, it read its VIN number no problems, then on the next screen I had a choice of 'LEXIA' or 'SCANTOOL'. t
If I select 'LEXIA' it then asks for the RPO number...

Engine speed sensor on a 1.9TD is on the engine 'rear' flange, on the back side - it picks up the signal from the flywheel. It's brown IIRC and secured by a single 8 or 10mm hex bolt. Not that far up, above the inboard end of the OS driveshaft. You'd need it on ramps to get to it.

Troubleshooting radiator fans '99 Xantia

The radiator fans on my 1999 Xantia aren't working, and neither is the AC. The fuses and temperature gauge seem to be working. Removing the brown temperature sensor plug when idling does not lead to the fans spinning up. Perhaps I'd have to check the relays.

Has anyone got any tips on how to locate the issue?

There are a group of relays on the front between the fans that control them, there is also a Bitron unit under the nearside headlamp, also check conduit running across the front end below radiator for broken wires.

Really - I wouldn't bother with Lexia stand alone cersion - it has not been supported independently from Diagbox for a long time.
Can you simply not clean up your system and install Diagbox - it may be a lot easier as Diagbox does all the launching of PP2000 or Lexia or Diagbox dependng on the vehicle automatically.

I have a problem with my Citroen C5 2011 1.6HDi, I've done a test with my lexia and found out the C1391 error code with message Fault: non-confirmation of engine torque . The problem is that when I hit the gas pedal the ABS/ESP error show up in my screen alongside with the check engine light.

Yes, because on some newer versions of Diagbox it uses the wireless / network adapter hardware code for activation purposes. Not having it on can cause constant activation nag screens, making it really impossible to use.

Ok, so it could be several issues.

I would start by uninstalling all previous versions of the standalone PP2000 first in case of a conflict.
Try checking it on another PSA vehicle to determine whether it is a communication issue with the newer 3008, as it is possible that you have may an older non full-chip VCI interface that will not work with...

I've got a 2011 B7 C4 and a Diagbox. I've been looking for something and came across these two options.
First one, what is an electrical key? It's set to 'mechanical' from factory.

Second, what is this option regarding ventilation? It's set on 'yes' by factory, but I don't understand what it does.

Activating cruise control

Hi guys, hoping someone can provide some insight.

Had my car (Citroen C5 estate MK1 2.0 hdi 90hp) hooked up to lexia in hope of activating cruise control.

Found the settings in injection menu, it states cruise control is disabled, go to enable it, nothing.... Can't see anyway to change it. Am I missing something?

Dpf non communication

When i run diagbox i get non communication error on dpf and the dog icon is greyed out under error reading
Yet I can tell the pump to inject fluid and it works fine
If I swing across the connection should I get a V reading all the time if so what am I looking for

I have a problem when trying use Lexia 3 to reset the two counters (additive and DPF).
Basically when I perform the Global diagnostic test Lexia can communicate with all sections apart from the two categories covering the additive pump and the related ECU. All other Lexia options for getting to the additive ECU also fail to communicate.

Only the ECU connector can be seen/accessed easily and not fancying BSI removal I simply inspected the contacts and 'exercised' the plug in and out a few times.

after selling the X7, at the time i had no use for the Easydiagnostics kit i purchased, laptop still has Diagbox on it, 7.51 i think?
however today i remembered i still had an earlier VCI running on Lexia 3/PP2000 which i had when i purchased the X7 which i'm sure did talk to it.
so today fired up the laptop and connected to the 'new' C5, however...

it is internet ready but only on if neccessary, not when running Diagbox.

Hello,
Looking for any assistance I can get.
I have a Citroen Berlingo 1.9, 55 plate. Recently I had white smoke coming from my exhaust, coupled with slow acceleration. I replaced the fuel filter and the car ran okay for a while. Now I have black smoke when accelerating, not that I can accelerate much, please help 😩

C Crosser Diag Communication Problem

Hello there.
I have a similar problem with lexia trying to cooperate with c-crosser... No dialogue with any of the ECUs at all... ELM327 can read faults no bother. Lexia works fine with C4. Google told me that c4 and c-crosser use a different transmission protocols. Any suggestions what to do? Look for a fault in c-crosser's diagnostic socket or...

Unfortunately new optocouplers haven't resolved remaining communication problems.
I will probably try to replace the relays with a set of decent ones.

Hi All. Well after reading many threads, I am confused. I have installed Diagbox 6.01 in a laptop with XP running, then I had many troubles activating it. After about the 5th attempt I got a message activation sucessful. I tried to run it in lexia mode on my Xantia, there was no dialogue with any ECU,s. I tried to run it on a new Peugeot 508,...

I have solved it. Myself.
I have found a file PSA Interface Checker Install by...guess who...starts with scary.. and if you start up Diagbox and then minimize it and run this program you can downgrade your reader temporary to a lower version (it will be upgraded again when you start Diagbox next time) - I had 4.3.0 and tested 4.1.6 and it worked...

Hello all . ive just scanned my 2.2hdi x7 as I have.. fuel flap access not properly locked on the dash. ive got the fault code F408 and it says , Fault Fuel Filler Cap Not Detected.. iv checked that I have both magnets in the cap and it does , so the question is whats the next step? has anyone tried just buying a new OEM cap from Citroen, remember...

Hi, new to the forum and just purchased a copy of Diagbox. Eventually managed to get it all loaded and working on an old laptop running Windows XP so will be more or less standalone in that respect. Have had it connected to my C5 Estate 163 Nav 2010, found it worked under the X7 variant. Came up with a shed load of fault codes, some I knew about...

Hi Ronnie, yes Diagbox works fine with Windows 7 - That's what I use all the time. Again, make sure you take a copy of your licence file once installed as it will likely be different for the partition on which you install it.
