Hello, Everytime i try and read the ecu i keep getting diagbox control unit no dialogue i have try everything and cant find out what the problem is

There can be a number of reasons for this, including (but not limited to) a failed fuse for the diagnostics port and pins not making a good contact when the reader is plugged in.

Hi, ill check my other we obd readers i have today and see sometimes it flashes green in the diagbox but just keep getting no dialogue when i scan for a fault

Please don't create multiple posts for the same query - Diagbox incorporates both PP2000 and Lexia 3 as encapsulated programmes and are not designed to be launched independently. Diagbox will determine the correct programme to launch according to your vehicle model and year.

Back to your original query, please answer the questions - reinstalling is not going to make any difference if it will not communicate. The product is launching fine - you have a hardware problem - either with the VCI connection / hardware or the driver is not installed properly on the laptop.

What version of Windows are you running it on?
Is it a 32 or 64 bit version of Windows?
Are you using a VM (Virtual Machine)?
What version of Diagbox are you running?
Was it previously working on the same car, or is this a different vehicle?
Do you have another Peugeot / Citroen you can try the VCI on?

Diagbox is the main programme that runs either Diagbox for cars generally from 2007 on, or Lexia 3 for Citroen or PP2000 for Peugeot - I'm not understanding why you are trying to run PP2000 separately - the programmes won't co-exist. You only need Diagbox - end of. It will launch the most appropriate version of the software. I wouldn't be surprised if you are having problems trying to install multiple versions of the software - standalone PP2000 or Diagbox. That will cause problems.

Hey, im trying to move from pp2000 till diagbox as its for my 3008 but everytime i try read ecu i get no dialogue

Ok, so it could be several issues.

• I would start by uninstalling all previous versions of the standalone PP2000 first in case of a conflict.
• Try checking it on another PSA vehicle to determine whether it is a communication issue with the newer 3008, as it is possible that you have may an older non full-chip VCI interface that will not work with the 3008 which will be a full CAN system most likely.
• If teh interface is also not working on an older PSA car, the wiring / pins may be loose on the VCI
