VIN VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

1999 HDi (110) Running OK until recently, had 3.5mm high pressure lines burst and patched, then auxiliary belt shreded after only 3 years and 14K and now another Core Plug has corroded (looks like external corrosion) and leaked coolant so I believe this might have led to the engine cutting out a couple of times after...

Hi folks,

I am having troubles determining engine, or to be more precise the RPO of the said engine on my Citroen C4 (2022). The dealership/authorized service pulled out information where I can see that my car has a DV5RC/EU63 engine with a serial number of 10 Q3DP 1343227, but from what I can find online, the recommended oil for that engine has...

Trying to find any details about my car by vin VR7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff] tried lots of vin look ups with no results number not found any help please.

I was just wondering if someone can confirm how adblue messages are normally displayed on the c4 grand picaso/spacetourer MK2, specifically the one with the e-ink speedo display.

According to the manual:

Service notifications are static and just have the spanner and a solid mileage count until next service

Hi everyone! 2007 C4 Picasso, 1.6 HDI MCP6.
When you lock the car, it flashes once after about a minute, and then turns on the headlights about another minute later. Now, if the door is open, it turns on the headlights anyway. It doesn’t indicate that the driver’s side door is open. I’ve replaced the following, but the problem persists: BSM, BSI,...

For various reasons I'm swapping my fuel tank in my 1.9TD Dispatch

The main reason is it can never get the last ~20 litres from the tank - I'd previously replaced the sender with no change, so it must be the tank itself. In fact when I drained the removed tank completely last night and put the sender in, it still read as 1/4 full. Witht he sender...

My DS5 was written off the other week today I got a new to me C5 aircross on a 20 plate. Everything was fine until I got home. I went to put the child seat in and noticed the eear window on the passenger side half way open. I tried to close it and it goes up and then back down. I checked and there is nothing in rails like debris etc, sprayed wd40...

Feel so dumb =P~ I put one of my windows near wide open, now it won't go up.

Only the down button now results in a click sound, but no motor life. Up buttons do nothing at all.

Is there any chance that it's just a fuse has gone?
I'm also really hoping that there's a failsafe that allows the window, in this state, to be manually released and...

Hi,
I know there have been other threads about this, but hopefully this is worthy of a new one...
I've tried to diagnose a inoperative radiator fan on my 1.6HDi 16V. 2005 plate. Xsara Picasso Exclusive with fully automatic climate control.
Finally a breakthrough. Unplugged the coolant temp sensor with the engine on. Hey presto, fan unit does...

Hi, my C4 Grand Picasso 1.6 hdi manual 2014 has a start stop not working problem. The cars starts and runs perfect. But when it starts it flashes up with a engine fault and the service light and eco off is on the dash all the time.

I've swapped the battery change the capacitor but its still the same. See photo of fault right side....

Hi.
I couldn't find a descent Relay van forum, and as I am a member on here for cars, thought ide ask here.

I fitted a new wiper motor 6 months ago to my 2008 Relay 2.2 hdi van, and they have been working ok. Today, I noticed that if I use any stalk position except fast, the wipers move, stop, move stop, bit by bit, all very spurious movements....

So I've got a 73 Reg Citroen C4 Petrol Automatic.

Hello fellow forum members

I have a Citroen C3 1.6 BlueHdi 100 from 2016. Over some time I have noticed that my car uses more and more oil.

I have checked for oil leaks but I could not find any. It is using about 6 lines on the oil dipstick after 10000 km. I have checked the intake to the turbo and there is a small puddle of oil on the bottom...

My daughter has a 2010 C3 Mk2 1.6 VTI Auto.

Recently, the cooling fan started coming on when she stopped/parked up the car. It stays on for about 5 mins and then goes off. I have driven it the last couple of days and this also seems to apply when driving. If you come to a roundabout or traffic lights and have to stop, then the fan quite often...

Hello everyone,
Our car (2014 C4GP mk2 1.6HDi 184000km) advanced from wanting eolys to saying the the DPF needs changing. I've been searching here and on the net in general and I think I know the answers to my questions but I need to think out loud and see if I'm on the right track.

Hello from Greece!
I recently bought second hand a Citroen Jumper 2.0 96KW mod.2016 with 258000klm.
After about 15 days I've had it in my possesion a warning light came on with the sign check adblue system .
I filled the adblue tank with adblue but the light did not turn off.
I went to a local garage and with the help of a plain KONWEI OBD...

Hello all,
I am searching for factory parking sensors fix, I was looking for a module, could not find it, but I found this in left side of trunk behind small port in the plastic trim, is this something for the parking sensors or something else?

Hello everyone,

I realise this question (or similar) has been raised before but it would be helpful to get up to date responses. Can anyone recommend a tyre fitter/outlet who will balance Xantia centreless wheels in Leeds, or even in West Yorkshire? I ask as my efforts to find a suitable tyre fitter/outlet in Leeds this year have drawn a blank....

Hi all!

My 2009 x7 randomly cut out yesterday.

After about 30 minutes of driving, the engine faded out over about 2 seconds, and then stopped.

I restarted the car, and it would cut out again after 20 seconds.

I plugged a computer in and got errors

P0183 diesel fuel temperature signal. Short circuit to positive or open circuit or value too...

Hi I'm getting abs faults, so it seems it's time to get the loom repaired. I was wondering if someone could tell me what is parts number for the rear left abs loom?
Is it one loom that goes inside the body or does it interconnect before? I thought that perhapd it would be better to get a new one ot buy used and rewire it with some proper wires....

Greetings from Finland!

I recently bought a -96 zx 1.4i 2door manual and was thinking about swapping the car with the 1.8i 16v XU engine, i now have the KFX engine i think.
Is the swap a big hassle, or could it be done with relative ease? Does anyone here have experience on the subject? My biggest question is, that do you need the transmission...

I bought a set of spheres for this last year, fitted the new front outers OK but the inner one is almost impossible. A very kind member in Holland told me how to, not easy but possible. It involved removing the n/s drive shaft and unscrewing the sphere with a cold chisel, something I have done in the past but at least I have been able to see it!...

I have a Citroen nemo in limp mode, dpf is pretty blocked, ive been told hydrochloric acid bath would do treat, could i pour this stuff in location or does it have to come off? and how long to soak?

Hello, I bought myself a car. Citroen c5 x7 156thp 2011. VIN: VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]. The seller of the car lives +300km away and his car broke down in my town. The local repair shop examined the car and stated that the 2nd cylinder injector is broken, it is leaking through. The owner managed to get another ride home and wanted to get rid of this car...

Hi. Was wondering if any one knows if my picasso c3 2014 hdi 1.6 exclusive has a oil level plug were I can fill the gearbox up instead of taking battery off and box out and moving ecg out the way to get to the top filler plug which I have done on an older picasso I had but I was told its faster to use the oils level plug but cant find one on mine...

Hj all, our generally very reliable 2.0 HDI has a coolant leak. It broke down on the M5 last week and despite the roadside recovery chap topping it up and pressure testing it. 4 miles later it ordered my wife to stop so it was recovered.

I've pressurised it to 20 psi and it does lose about 2 psi and about 8mm fluid height from the middle of the...

Hello all. Newby here. I'm hoping one of you can help. I'm baffled utterly. We have changed the Brake Cylinder and Servo unit though it was tough. While we were at it we changed rear brake pads. It was bled properly using diagnostic tool. This is a Citroen Grand Picasso 1.6 Diesel Auto, 2014. The Pedal seemed to sink still though not to the floor...

Good Afternoon,

A new xantia X2 (non hydractive with anti-sink) onwer here (unfortunately the ownership is new, not the Xantia!).

I have replaced all 5 spheres with new Febi ones, except the Accumulator, which is an I.F.H.S (no idea when it was changed, but i dont hear any frequent clicking).

The car in general feels good, with very good body...

Hello Guys,

I've been struggling with getting this issue solved, been to lot of local car electricians, only thing that they've said was let's replace the alternator,

but something there is not looking right to me. The alternator is charging at proper voltage 14.3-4, but when they connect it to a diagnostic tool they can see fault in...

I’ve just bought a ds3 2017 with 87k on to resell, how ever when you start it up hot or cold it splutters for a second then runs sweet after that, drives perfect. Just had to it serviced today hoping that it would fix it how ever it’s still there

Hi,

When pushing the truck's opening button you can here some electrical action occuring, but the trunk won't open

Has someone encountered a similar situation?

What is the solution? Is it necessarily the button's mechanism that needs to be replaced? And if so, can it be replaced without being able to open the trunk?

Thanks

Hi guys, I have possible problem (still not sure is it normal or a problem) with the cabin heating. As we have entered November the temps have dropped enough for the cabine heating to be used. That said, I just can't get enough heat, no matter which temperature I set.

I have an C5 Exclusive from 2010 with auto a/c. I did noticed that when set to...

Hi

I know there have been other posts about this but have reached my wits end with the non-functioning heater blower. It is a '02 xsara picasso, with climate control.

The blower stopped working all together. I have replaced the blower motor (which is the 2 plug version with built in resistor) and the wiring from the ignition. There is power...

Hello everyone, My Citren C5 X7 2.0 HDI hasn't had any heat for a while now.
The water pump, thermostat, radiator, and heater core have been replaced.
The system has been flushed several times.
The cooling system has been bled through the valves.
I noticed that the pipe going to the new heater core is hot, while the pipe leaving it is cold.
What...

Hi,
My wife has a 2014 Citroen C4 Picasso Airdream Automatic. It’s done about 45,000 miles.
It seems as though the clutch is slipping. I’ve done some research which suggests this auto box is a basically an adapted manual box and this is common.
Questions for you experts…..
1. Is it common at only 45k?
2. Is it worth getting it repaired?
3. Does...

Today I noticed that my AC is not working anymore on my 2015 Citroen C4. 11 months ago I had the AC serviced (vacuum check, AC refilled) and it worked fine throughout the summer. When the AC was refilled, the technician noticed that in 9 years with no service to the AC, there was barely any gas gone (about 75 grams of the 425 total). During that...

Hello all,

First time writing here. My name is Matt and I have a problem with my car. It's a Citroen Xsara 1.6 petrol. 1997. I don't drive this car very often because I have another one much younger. But anyway, here is what happened.

I have started a car. Immediately, it starts to shake when I press the gas pedal, and it also has an unstable...

Hi All

This is my 4th picasso, only recently bought, good condition - starts and works fine, BUT ...

Most times when I start it there is a whizzing noise for about a second as the 'bendix gear' cog retracts from flywheel (assume that's what it is, no noise once started and running).
Is this just a lack of oil on the mechanism or something...

Recently picked up a new Berlingo van (2026 model) and looking to get power to the back for various things like a travel fridge, pressure washer, lighting etc. All 12v.

I'm really struggling to find a way to either get a lead from the battery into the cabin, or locate an empty fuse socket from the fusebox under the dashboard on the passenger...

Hottest day this may coincided with my turbo dying, yay!!
The temperature gauge in car didn't hit higher than normal.
