Hi Team!

Changed both front door hinges on my 2012 Tourer this afternoon - followed the guidance on Comfortable Car Club (YouTube).

Wasn't half as bad as I was expecting, so would certainly recommend that channel for lots of useful fixes and how-to's.

Also, Remis PSA is another useful source of mods and info.

Good afternoon
I wonder if anyone could help me with the following problem.

A few weeks ago my 2014 Citroen C5 estate needed a replacement windscreen due to accidental damage. Unfortunately the windscreen technicians managed to break a ribbon connector located within the rear view mirror housing.

They didn't tell me about the damage at the...

Hello everyone,

I have a Citroën DS4 with the RT6 (RNEG2) head unit. Unfortunately, I accidentally formatted the original microSD card and now my unit only shows a black screen or freezes on the Citroën logo. The CD drive keeps spinning and it doesn’t read my USB stick with the firmware update (2.86).

Since the internal SD card is empty, I...

Hi

Just wondering what tyres the C5X owners have fitted, or if they've changed and noticed any difference/ improvement?

My shine+ was 74 reg, although was an early 2023 build. The tyres on it are marked 0723 which I presume means wk 7 of 2023. The tyres fitted are Goodyear Efficientgrip Performance, the first version. Just wondered if everyone...

Hi, I've bought a 2015 C3 1.2 puretech with the 5 speed electronic autobox. Its a Japanese import and had the speedo dial changed to an MPH one, but the digital section is still in Kilometres. I'd like to have it all in miles, can the instruments be swapped without any ECU reprogramming, i.e. plug and play. Also, i have seen a 2015 set of...

Which mentions the official procedure for removing the pump and I was wondering if anyone could...

Some time ago, I asked some questions to the forum crowd about this, possibly complaining how it was difficult to obtain parts from outside of Turkey. Well, now it is impossible. We now need to hire the services from companies even for personal imports, adding at least twice the cost of the part and shipping costs combined.

The C5 (Mk1 Phase 2...

Hello fellas, we meet again, my submarine recently had a very stupid issue, both my low beams went out, thought its a fuse, started checking because diagrams do not exist and i drooped one, bricked my car, fixed that. Now from what i read online its most likely a relay ishue, what im more puzzled from, most people say its sothered and electrical...

We have a Citroen C5 Aircross and a C4 coupe, 2 and 3 years old, both auto boxes and 1.5 130 hp diesels. The auto boxes in these often run the engines at about 1400 rpm at cruising speeds. Should I run them at higher rpm now and again to avoid the engines claggling up (like I used to with an old diesel Renault), or do we not have to bother with...

Hi Folks!

Thank you for this useful forum which has helped fix some small issues. Now I am forced to ask because I can't figure out the issue.

Shortly, I have a 2008 C3 1.4 l, automatic.

Hello, I bought a 2007 C4 Grand Picasso 2.0 HDI and it started to stop working and pull hard. I looked down in front of the engine near the oil filter and there was a Y connection and it was cracked. I changed it to a T and it still pull hard, but I saw that a hose was left out... should that hose be left out like that or should I connect it...

Hello
I wonder if someone can help me with this fault?. Started the car from cold the engine it was a little lumpy at first but idled ok. Then the engine Management fault light came on and the radiator electric cooling fan came on at full speed. I switched the engine off but the cooling fan stayed on for a least ten minutes even though the engine...

Good day

On our Citroen C4 Picasso 1.2 gasoline, the electronic parking brake will occasionally fail to engage. Three symbols light up on the dashboard, as well as beeping and error message on the console. The local shops are not the best at fault finding, so I was hoping to get a clue or direction before we move on with attempted repairs.

Aft...

Owned my 2016 1.6 Diesel C4 Picasso Grand ten years and one month now from new.
The car has full service history and has wanted for nothing, mechanically maintained regardless of cost.
Has it been a reliable car ?…Well nothing these days is built to last for ever but of late I have began to wonder if the urban myth of the famed warranty chip...

Hello all,

Just joined the forum.

Bought the c5x through Citroen this year, with their one years extended warranty thrown in.

Had some issues with the car (for another post), but noticed after a major service that the air resonator was not attaching to the bulkhead, after taking a further look , it looks like sone sort of clip must have snapped...

Hi,

At the moment, the best method I've found for removing the spheres is using a chisel (at least in my case 😉). I've already replaced 6 out of 7 spheres, and soon I'll try to remove the last one — the central sphere.
I found Kees' manual, but I'm still a bit afraid of damaging something. To be on the safe side, I'll definitely remove the steel...

Hi everyone. I'm new here.
I have a problem with the engine on my 2012 C4 II (b7) 1.6 120VTi, very similar to what Yewboy69 described in 2024.

In December I had to replace the battery that died due to the cold, and when I restarted I heard an alarm signal. I immediately stopped and realized I had driven for a minute with the PBGA connector left...

Sorry if this has been covered before my car is 2103 C4 HDI.

The front calipers were seized and would not slide.

I ordered a set of new pins and rubbers meant to be vehicle specific from fleabay but brakeparts.co.uk are the seller/supplier.

Hi,

mine are binding the cable and preventing the handbrake from releasing. also they dont appear to be fitted to the bulkhead correctly, with broken ends.

trouble is i tried europarts and gsf, and autodoc. but no one ha...

I've been looking to kill 2 birds with one stone and dispense with a daily use VW Polo and older model Citroen Dispatch Van, the initial intention to replace with an all electric 7 seater Berlingo. A couple of years old, low mileage etc.,

However, there seems to be more Peugeot Rifter's that meet the required spec and my head is spinning as I try...

Hi,

While driving my C4 make year 2009 I got a gearbox ( AL4 ) fault P1167 Automatic gearbox Pressure Regulation Fault . Using Lexia I read the oil pressure at idle. The measured pressure was 4.9 bar instead of the expected 8.9 bar. At the very moment the fault was triggered the symptom of the fault was a slight vibration of shifting from 1st...

I own a Citroen Ds4 e-hdi automatic, and have the eco deactivated and start stop not working. Having the check engine message coming up anytime I start the car. It has the fault code P1A9C which made me go ahead to replace a used OEM capacitor. The fault code doesn’t clear afterwards and I need help with a diagbox V9 and the hardware (cables) to...

I am trying to remove the starter motor from my 1988 CX 25 GTi. I have got the two long bolts out and removed the metal shroud. The starter is just clear of the bell housing but will not come any further despite much wriggling. Any advice?

Prior to my BPGA unit woes there were three faults showing in total ,the BPGA , DPF full and blocked with soot and an open circuit on the Engine Oil Pressure Switch.
Also prior to the BPGA the car had started to bog badly losing power etc when trying to accelerate.

As a faulty BPGA can throw out lots of false faults I was pretty sure that this...

Hi all just joined after lurking for a bit.

i made the mistake of taking on a well used and abused 2013 C4 1.6HDI. 115ps

I knew it needed strut top mounts, heavy steering and twang as the spring tried to twist, drive home confirmed brake discs shot warped and try rip the steering wheel out my hands at speed. Wheel bearing clearly toast given the...

Doing some work on a JCB Fastac-145 tractor unit that has hydraulics on the rear axle

Struggling to find the sphere details.....any help out there ??

It has two spheres per rear suspension strut and an accumulator. Axle uses two height correctors, so any details on them would be helpful as one has a leak...

Hi all, so I bought another Citroen :)

This time a 2016 C4 hatchback (not cactus).

I had assumed that the steering would be very light on this as the reviews all mention this but it seems much heavier to me, I didn't really notice on test drive before buying but it's not very light at low speeds.

I've had a C5 Aircross before and that was what...

Hi, i have a Citroen C3 (third generation) from 2017. its a petrol with 110 hs engine. After buying it used from a car dealer i found out that the engine has been damaged somehow and had it changed. Hi friends
I have a Citroen C5 2014
I started having a problem after I connected the LED lamps in the door trim with the original Citroen boxes according to the manual
9683072780
Is there anything I can do to prevent this problem from appearing? Maybe a diode resistor or something? Any ideas?

Its a citroen c4 2008 with automatic aircon i have tested the cabin air blower and it works when i connect it to a power source strong enough to power it on. It reads out 14V on cable to it when put to max but it still doesnt start.

Hello,
I'm having trouble finding the gearbox oil level plug. After replacing a driveshaft, the gearbox oil leaked out, so I refilled it with fresh oil. However, I want to make sure I haven't overfilled it.
I've attached a photo, but I don't think this is the correct plug. I found the drain plug at the bottom of the gearbox, and it takes an 8 mm...

Hi!

I've got a 2019/12 C4 GrandSpacetourer 1.2 Puretech. If i want to change my halogen bulbs to led, will I have bulb error on my dashboard? Or it has no canbus system? Thanks!!

How on earth do you check the oil level on this box, there is no dipstick and I cannot find a level plug, reading various other forums there is some mention of a combined drain/level plug mine just has a single piece drain. Also the oil I have bought for it from GSF is Carlube Fully Synthetic ATF-U, having read horror stories about using the wrong...

C4GP 1.6HDi mk2 (2015)

Engine code 9HC (DV6C)

Does anyone know what size the o-rings are on the end of the clutch line feeding into the slave cylinder please?
The o-rings I put on weeks ago have corroded (yep they're nitrile, which I now know should be EPDM 70). Citroen today quoted me £70+VAT for the entire line, as they don't sell just the...

Honestly I'm at a loss here. Got my rear right TPMS replaced by Chevronics today. On my way back home I notice some pretty strong vibrations at about 75-80 MPH. I figured they forgot to balance the wheel (no biggie, mistakes happen). So I take a short detour to my local tyre place when I get near home. They kindly offer to balance it for me on the...

hello.

so my C2 has this funny problem where the doors won't unlock by remote or button, the tailgate will, and all three will lock just fine, I can however unlock the car by key and open the drinker's side door from the inside.
I have searched for a couple days now (I hate the Ersatz the modern internet has become) and best I figure is either a...

I believe that this car has either the front too high or the rear too low.
The height Sensors at the rear are on each wheel arm rather than the Anti Roll bar.
(Nothing on the rear anti roll bar)
My Diagbox is too old for this model, it can see the suspension ECU but not the Body Height ECU or the Engine ECU.
Luckily I have an Autel Tablet that...

Newbie to the forum on the back of a few problems that have arisen since the weekend.

I've had a 2014 C4 1.6 HDi hatch for about a year which I've been really happy with. A terrific drive, great for long journeys, and excellent fuel economy. I've driven about 27,000 miles since I bought it last April. I had the factory recall through from...

Hi,
Is it possible to just swap the existing halogen headlights in a C5 aircross with the led version of the headlights?
