Is anybody here a Citroen Dispatch expert?
Being a veteran van driver, one of the tricks for safely emerging from awkward sharp T-junctions, was to fit a rear view mirror and set it to see out the offside door window. And OK, I know a panel van doesn't need a rear view mirror but was usually set up to accept one because the same van was often available as a "combi" or minibus. When I approached my dealer to buy a rear view mirror he said my Dispatch hasn't got a mount beneath the blanking grommet. However, on examination I find it has a square lug, which looks like its waiting to have a mirror pushed onto it. So, my question - is there such a mirror? And who can I buy one from?
(It's a 2025 74 reg Dispatch M)

Have a look at Autodoc website: https://www.autodoc.co.uk/car-parts/int ... n/dispatch
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Hi itisk0
That is a great little tip, I have a 2018 Expert van and even though it has no windows in the back and a full metal bulkhead anyway it is fitted with the rear view mirror.
It also has captain seats in the cab so maybe used a non standard van spec but the company that owned it before me have a big fleet and order them that way including all white colour coded grill, skirts etc.
I realise this isn't helping you with your question but I will use your blind spot mirror tip from now on.
Cheers
Bobby

Re: Citroen Dispatch Interior Rear View Mirror
onour many trips up the motorways from Plymouth to Orkney with our French LHD cars I always turned the rear view mirror to enable me to see overtaking vehicles on my right.
Door mirrors were good enough to see what's what behind.
Saved my bacon a good few times.

Glad my tip helped tricoloured and great to see Vic uses the same idea.
The square lug turns out to be a hex lug, and according to a reversing camera site, it's a cover, which can hopefully be removed (anticlockwise?) and the correct mirror fitted (turning clockwise?) into a sprung plastic socket behind. So, I suppose the hex lug is to enable the cover to be rotated and removed. I am waiting for my dealer to confirm. Part no. of mirror seems to be 98103612XT. I will update this topic as soon as I get an answer from the dealer.
