2019 Citroen C4 Grand Spacetourer
Massage seats (drivers and passenger) were both working perfectly but last week the passengers side stopped working. No green light, no massage and no lumbar support adjust. A quick look underneath the seat and there's no obvious trapped wires etc. I'm struggling to find details of any possible fuse(s) related to the massage seat function. Could it be the motor?

Re: Massage seat stopped working
This topic on a C5 is worth a read, in this case the motor commutator had worn out. Some massage seats have an air supply that might fail but I do not know if your car has this. viewtopic.php?t=69997

Re: Massage seat stopped working
So after paying Citroen the rather tidy sum of £156 for 1 hour of labour to investigate, to the inform me they needed another 2 hours to fault find the issue (remove the seat and strip it down) I decided not to proceed and brought the car home and decided to get the tools out.
The lumbar massage unit (ECU) is the same on each seat - I put the passenger side ECU (non functioning seat) onto the drivers seat (the still functioning seat) - the drivers seat stopped working.
To confirm the motors on the passenger seat were still functioning I put the working ECU from the drivers seat onto the passenger seat, lo and behold the passenger seat started working again.
Off to a well known auction site to purchase a 2nd hand Lumbar Massage Unit, part No - 9802982280
Access to the Lumbar Massage Unit is easy, remove the 4 Torx that hold the seat runners in place, lean the seat back and voila, ECU in plain sight. All in about 30 minutes of fettling.
Ill put some pictures up later
UPDATE.......
From underneath the rear of the front passenger seat you can see the Lumbar support unity, but you cannot see the clip to remove it and access is really tight, which is why the seat needs to be removed.
Tools for the job - T40 Torx and pliers
Slide the seat forward to remove the rear bolts 1st - this will make sense later
Now slide the seat backward to remove the front 2 bolts
As you begin to loosen the front Torx bolts the seat will naturally want to lean back toward the 2nd row seating, which is exactly what you want to happen.
Doing the bolts in this order avoids having to slide the seat again, which is a pain if the seat runners aren't retained by the bolts.
The clip that retains the Lumbar unit is now exposed.
Get your pliers onto the white clip and squeeze it together so you can remove the unit pass the clip.

Re: Massage seat stopped working
Hello, my car is a 2016 Peugeot 508 SW 2.0 BlueHDi 180hp GT. If the lumbar support button and massage function are not working, what could be the problem?

Re: Massage seat stopped working
Is that the only function that doesn't work (all other electric movement functions still work ok)?
