I doubt the piece of plastic holding the cable to the floor will cause an issue with the air bag light, but an intermittent loose connection in the plug and socket almost certainly will. Check for a good electrical connection within. Look...

hi all, I am trying to get an old single cylinder bike to run right.. I feel I want to know it's air fuel ratio and then make changes to jets etc.. (I have tried looking at plug and so on, but I want something a little more certain)

help! so far I have looked at :
Chinese gauges and O2 sensors (no problem to fit these)
Gunson testers
Colourtune...

I used the analyser on my new(er) bike, and the needle stayed at about 13 and slightly drifted up (leaned) with revs, showing good emissions on the gauge. I may repeat this on the MG as well as it's all good info :)

As for algae killer, I use the Pro-Kleen stuff that you dilute with water - great for keeping the water in water features algae free - as long as you don't have fish in there of course....

My old friend asked about the Omaze draw that's being widely promoted on tv and online, a £million house in Devon the prize, free entry to the draw...........but. I had a look, you can have one entry by postcard free then there are options to buy multiple entries.

Those numbers show a breakdown of profit!! Presumably then the total income expected is that £625,000 + the costs of the prize and the advertising. That would suggest an expected income of at least 3.65 million yet the charity only gets half a million. Be much more beneficial if the ticket buyers just donated to the charity!!! :shock: Got a phone call from my old friend, she'd been stung by some waspy thing and her hand and arm were up like a balloon.

GP says go to A&E, an hour there then a round trip to the chemists for antibiotics.

Got to her house and the 8 foot fluorescent lamp in her kitchen had died so a trip to the electric shop for a tube. :(

Hi all
The trims on my Xantia are getting a little bit tatty and as they are original i would like to keep them. :)
My idea is to soak them in a bucket of sugar soap solution to get them back to base level and then see where i go from there.

I assume i will then need to use a plastic use paint primer and then similar type paint for the top...

Can any PC techy type people here identify what type of RAM this is? I know theres a few different types. Its from a Windows 10 desktop. Im looking to get another one to double up the RAM to 8gb.
Tried typing some of the numbers into ebay but nothing helpful comes up.

My next move after doubling the RAM to 8GB in my laptop was to change the spinning discs hard drive for a SSD. That really had a quite noticeable effect on boot-up time and general responsiveness. I might go to 16GB next or, just possibly, change the CPU if it isn't soldered to the motherboard.

When I did this some ten years ago on my then laptop...

I wondered if any of our resident TV engineers can tell me what might be causing the blue splashes effect in the following three TV screenshot pictures, from live and recorded sources:

Thanks for the info Chris, the screen was apparently fine using the PC connected to the VGA input so it does look like the issue was in the rf or maybe the Humax box but its been ok for the last hour since wiggling the coax plug in the wall. Maybe a duff socket connection which I'll look at on my next visit!! :)

Its a sad day in crapday towers. For the first time in 20 years I wont have a Citroen :? my X7 estate will cost me more than its worth so wont be throwing good money after it. Just a quick cheeky check, or rather brain pick. Has anyone had any experience of a Subaru Legacy 2.5i 2004? I have a chance to buy a rather nice one to replace the C5 but as I have never sat in one let alone driven one I wondered if anyone could shed any light on them? :)

Pre-Brexit I used Autodoc several times for AX spares with great satisfaction...

As they appear to be based in Germany and ship from there, or did, I'm somewhat reluctant to use them now given all the alleged shipping difficulties and so on...

Has anyone used them since Brexit?

I ask as almost every day I receive an email offering me bargains...

Well the depreciation on it is going to be nothing, run it for a summer or two then put it up for auction again.
In theory bargain basement motoring. All you need is £20 to £30 grand lying about doing nothing, and you could talk yourself into it. Very much like the colour.
