Re the 407 door seal issue and airbag warnings, after a few days of rain and testing with the hose, I gave up as water was still pooling on top of the bottom door seal and then running inside the car.

My solution was to put a few holes thru the seal with a leather hole punch tool which seems to allow the water to exit (the door seal gets squashed...

Its a sad day in crapday towers. For the first time in 20 years I wont have a Citroen :? my X7 estate will cost me more than its worth so wont be throwing good money after it. Just a quick cheeky check, or rather brain pick. Has anyone had any experience of a Subaru Legacy 2.5i 2004? I have a chance to buy a rather nice one to replace the C5 but as I have never sat in one let alone driven one I wondered if anyone could shed any light on them? :)

Pre-Brexit I used Autodoc several times for AX spares with great satisfaction...

As they appear to be based in Germany and ship from there, or did, I'm somewhat reluctant to use them now given all the alleged shipping difficulties and so on...

Has anyone used them since Brexit?

I ask as almost every day I receive an email offering me bargains...

I have just watched the tv advert for Serious Lights. I cannot believe they are trying to sell table lamps for £249.99 based on them giving daylight lighting for craft work or reading etc. The lamps look like a standard flexi desk light which you can easily find for less than £25. In recognition that for some getting out and about with the camera may be difficult bit more of an indoor task for POTD.

I am thinking everyone has stocks and stock of photographs in their homes, probably stored away in boxes and albums never looked at for years.

I just watched the Serpent on BBC.
Very good story, but did he really drive a CX from France to India without any issues?
I would be interested to know who it belongs to- it's RHD so may well reside in the UK?

I owned 3 CX's, the last one a CX25 DTR Turbo Safari, I covered over 150k miles in and had very few problems with, apart from having to change the head gasket every 15k due to a porous block, it was such an amazing car I put up with that. Otherwise it was ultra reliable, just used to get in it and drive. Rarely let me down once I got to know it....

It looks like (if Lord Bamford has his way) potholes may become a thing of the past. While those of us who drive hydro-pneumatic Citroens may not be seriously affected by potholes, drivers of less refined vehicles find that potholes can detract from the quality of their driving experience.

Any chance that over time members of the FCF can post up an original photograph for every single traditional County on the map of Great Britain. :?: Doesnt have to have been taken on or after Sunday 22/11/2020 at 10.12am, can be from your own photographic collection...as long as they are originals.
