That is a generic code reader - some of the codes like that C1114 are not valid for your car and neither are the ones with the extra numbers:

I suspect your code reader can't interpret the data properly, but the extra numbers don't have anything to do with PSA codes.

I've got 2 of a similar spec in the barn, if you're intent on using it go back to XP, less memory required to do basics. Good as a Diag machine, checking emails, basic googling and a glorified MP3 player, though phones will do that better now, apart from the Diag!

Yes Marc that's the one...………….same age as my C5 :)

Moz, I had thought about...

Have a look at this thread

They're not the cheapest but they provide good back-up and support and many members here have bought one of these.

Cheers Marc, I will have a go over the weekend.
I have all the updates.......... I think?

Engine speed sensor on a 1.9TD is on the engine 'rear' flange, on the back side - it picks up the signal from the flywheel. It's brown IIRC and secured by a single 8 or 10mm hex bolt. Not that far up, above the inboard end of the OS driveshaft. You'd need it on ramps to get to it.

There are a group of relays on the front between the fans that control them, there is also a Bitron unit under the nearside headlamp, also check conduit running across the front end below radiator for broken wires.

To date this is where I am with this Saxo Map Sensor . I awaited delivery of a brand new Map sensor which when received I fitted, then before driving the car I tested it with the Autel OBD No codes were returned, so I thought great, tried it out on a two mile run and it ran perfectly, idled perfectly, so I assumed it would test...

Really - I wouldn't bother with Lexia stand alone cersion - it has not been supported independently from Diagbox for a long time.
Can you simply not clean up your system and install Diagbox - it may be a lot easier as Diagbox does all the launching of PP2000 or Lexia or Diagbox dependng on the vehicle automatically.

Thanks for the info, I'll see if I can find the Diagbox software again. I switched to Lexia from Diagbox as it was taking a fair while to load up & Lexia was all I needed for my '04 Berlingo.

any one got driver down load ?

I will check the tyre pressure to be sure. The idea is that i have the issue since i bought the car, i’ve bought new tires last autumn and the error still showed up. The interval between errors was 2-3 months, But one month ago I was at a citroen auto shop to do some repairs and imediatly after i went out the service the error shows up everytime I...

Yes, because on some newer versions of Diagbox it uses the wireless / network adapter hardware code for activation purposes. Not having it on can cause constant activation nag screens, making it really impossible to use.

Ok, so it could be several issues.

I would start by uninstalling all previous versions of the standalone PP2000 first in case of a conflict.
Try checking it on another PSA vehicle to determine whether it is a communication issue with the newer 3008, as it is possible that you have may an older non full-chip VCI interface that will not work with...

When the software queries the state of this particular input pin on the microprocessor, it doesn't know if it is pulled to VCC (high) or to Ground (low). Using a 'pull up' or 'pull down' resistor will ensure it is in one state or the other and uses a low amount of current.

On the board, the 10k resistor is a 'Pull Up' type.

In the case of the...

But it works minutes after shutting of the engine. It's good if you're parking for a few minutes, but even then, it just blows in the hot air from the outside.
Tesla with that constant running A/C would be nice 8-)

The way wurlycorner shows in his profile is how I did it in my C5. The only difference between his and my C5 is that mine (being a later C5 Mk1) is that I have the red and white switch combined into one casing.

Once again thanks for all your help
Determined to get this girl running right

Update
Only the ECU connector can be seen/accessed easily and not fancying BSI removal I simply inspected the contacts and 'exercised' the plug in and out a few times.

After a struggle to get Lexia to connect to to the car (always seems to require a great deal of wiggling of the diagnostic plug to get proper contact) the Global test showed...

Could not agree the sale and then send a cheque? A bit more of a delay but secure enough. You do still have a chequebook?

You've got access to parts, but technical documents are chargeable are very thin on the ground for early cars including Xantias.

The offline versions are no longer available - all online now, so you won't have access to anything 2013 on and by the same token, earlier cars like the XM and Xantia have not had all their documentation converted and...

If you can't find anyone nearer, I am in East Sussex and have Lexia/Diagbox and happy to help.

Thanks for the offer it's very much appreciated, however East Sussex is a very large area, could you narrow it down?

Hi, well after help from Easydiagnostics, big thanks, and several re-installs I now have a working copy of Lexia3 and it is very good.
I have captured some data and I wondered if those who have experience would be kind enough to check the data values for me and offer some advice on how to put things right.
Thanks

Thank you for your reply Marc : )

I have been looking online for sphere removal tools just in case.

There is a low cost one on eBay, the seller kindly came back with £13.75 plus post to my un-generous offer of £10 : )

The feed back for it on eBay is very good, but no so on some forums for the same item a couple of years back ?

If the gentleman...

Diagbox on this laptop was a fresh install, it was purchased purely for use with the Diagbox i got from easydiagnostics but then sold.
it is internet ready but only on if neccessary, not when running Diagbox.

i'll start rooting around later to see what i've got.

Ok, great, I only need to get one with OBD2, I wouldn't be going anywhere near leads like that.

Unfortunately new optocouplers haven't resolved remaining communication problems.
I will probably try to replace the relays with a set of decent ones.

I have solved it. Myself.
I have found a file PSA Interface Checker Install by...guess who...starts with scary.. and if you start up Diagbox and then minimize it and run this program you can downgrade your reader temporary to a lower version (it will be upgraded again when you start Diagbox next time) - I had 4.3.0 and tested 4.1.6 and it worked...

Hi there is no sensor on the x7 models.. What about just buying a new cap OEM cap

OK many thanks guys

If there are any fault codes associated with the emissions or engine, the Engine ECU probably will not allow it. This is so it can protect the engine and its components. A manual regeneration takes a toll on the engine and is not recommended very often, as it really shouldn’t be needed with the additive system, so long as the vehicle is not...

Hi Ronnie, yes Diagbox works fine with Windows 7 - That's what I use all the time. Again, make sure you take a copy of your licence file once installed as it will likely be different for the partition on which you install it.

As for the post 7.62 versions, there has been incremental loss of telecoding features, as PSA move more and more to...

Cheers, Marc, bit confusing as the wifi is not connected, my garage is too far away from my router, but as long a it is nothing serious I am happy.
