I was changing the gearbox oil and thought that the bolt with the red circle is the filling plug but after a few turs it felt wrong. Then I screwed it back. And filled the oil through breathing hole. My question is what this bolt is for and if a few turns out wouldn't make anything serious loose inside the gearbox.

Hello.
Could someone advise me please on the programming injectors for the Peugeot 3008 2011 with ICarsoft CR PRO. The issue is that after I have renewed a new injector, I faced an issue with the Diagnostic tool: Application failed .
In fact, in the Injector menu I have two options:
1) Classification of injector.
2) Replacement of injector.

Hi Brains, I have a challenge for you all!! Here in France a friend has a problem with his 2010 Peugeot 3008 2.0hdi. Battery light is staying on, despite testing with meter shows that the alternator is producing charge. We suspect that the battery control module could be at fault as the car had a main under bonnet fusebox melt. (Fusebox now...

Yesterday my 1.1 petrol 206 stated binging, the warning bing from the dashboard, and almost stalled a few times when dropping to tickover. This was towards the end of a short 6 mile inner city journey, stopped halfway to shop. there were only about four separate single bings but no warning lights on, temperature was halfway. At home I held the...

Seems two of the three front diesel injectors have a bit of a fuel leak as per pics (5U3G-9K546-AA)

I've tightened up the hold down bolts and line nuts but still get a bit of diesel leakage

The middle one is nice and clean, whilst the other two are brown all over , so hard to tell where the leak may be. No obvious seepage when running

I'm slowly working through all the faults on my 2008 207cc and I'm down to 1 non-engine fault.
But both the 'ABS/traction control' and the 'Radio or radiotelephone (radio part)' have 'ECU not recognised' next to them.
Both units are communicating just fine with Diagbox.
The radio has been upgraded from an RD4 to an RD45, but I'm not sure about the...

Good morning folks,
My 1998 106 1.1 has been having some idling and running issues. I believe I have found the source of the issue. The female connector plug for the throttle position sensor has a mangled socket which is causing the engine to stall. Unplugging the TPS exhibits the same symptom. Plugging it back it, the engine runs perfectly for a...

Hi all,
I have a bit of a conundrum with my 307 interior light.
I have searched but cannot see the same issue, so I am hoping someone may have knowledge.

The issue.

When I stop the engine and take key out the interior light no longer illuminates.
When I open the doors, 9 times out of 10 no interior lights come on but when I close any door the...

Hi all.
Not having been able to find the answer to my question in the forum, I leave it here.
I need to change the coolant and, unlike other cars where I've had it done, in my Peugeot 5008 (2018) 1.5BlueHdi I can't find any drain valve.
Can anyone help me, please?
Thank you in advance

Hello Everyone, I have a 2002 Boxer Motorhome and there are a few jobs mounting up, but to get the right parts it would be useful if I could find someone that is able to de-code the VIN .. I can't join the Peugeot service box as I am not a professional repair shop, does anyone have any ideas ?

Would be good to know ! Thanks in advance !! :)

Please can anyone tell me if the primer bulb on a 20hdi should stay hard when pumped or go soft again trying to find out what gives low fuel pressure thanks

It was ok but now putting water into the expansion bottle and it is pouring right out onto the ground seems to be the left hand side of the engine anyone e any ideas please ,thanks BTW its a 2011 model

Hi everyone, We've got a bit of an issue with our 206.

The engine had low compression, so swapped in a new engine, and she now starts and runs great again.
I also changed over the AL4 gearbox over to the new engine. I did drain a bit of oil from the gearbox, and refilled with that same oil after refitting. Because I did spill a a bit here and...

Hi guys,

Mulling over dechroming my Obsidian Black 207cc, both interior and exterior.
I'm aware that matt black vent/centre console trim is available to replace the silver.
But... has anyone done this? What does the huge Peugeot front bumper badge look like in matt black?

I need to replace the centre part of the front grill.
This is the solid part that covers the towing eye bolt hole, has part number '7452HV' and is what I think Service Box refers to as the 'front bumper capping'.
Question is, is it possible to remove and replace this part without taking the entire front bumper off?

Hello. Before a month I got my Peugeot 2008 2024 model GT.
Yesterday I noticed a lot, A LOT spots with iron particles in the paint. Anyone found something like this?
What should I do? I want to ask a new car or my money back.

Hi,
I have changed stem seals on my Peugeot 208 (EB2 engine).
When I was doing that I damaged one valve so I had to take the top of resulting in a bit bigger job :)

Now I am cleaning the valves and noticed the exhaust valves I cleaned looked like this.
I have given it a lap with paste but I do not want to do that too much.
The intake valves look...

Hello, lads!

Any tips on how would I go about removing the front bumper lower skirt? It is attached to the front bumper by some clips/ rivets, not really sure so any advice would be much appreciated! Please find attached the uploaded attachment photos for reference. Many thanks!

My wife has had a small coming together with a bollard and her RCZ as shown in the picture below:

Is there a simple way to get behind that panel with a pusher either by removing the speaker or door latch or is it full interior strip to get to it that way?

Will it be simpler to use a dent puller and do it from outside?...

How much is it going to approx cost to have a towing bar fitted to a 205 and wired in ? Can it be done diy or is it better for a qualified mechanic to fit it and what about the legal paper work for the installation ?.

Hi. So the engine light has come back on. The lambda sensor has been changed twice (still within waranty time frame) exhaust box has been changed, catalytic converter has been checked, no issues there. ECU has been checked no issues there. Engine fault repair needed flashes on the dash. The car loses slight power sometimes & sometimes for a split...

The car is a Peogeot 207, 2008, 1.6l, petrol.

I am getting consistent error code P0328, which relates to the knock sensor. I am having difficulty identifying it. Haynes says on the back of the cylinder block and to remove the engine undershield, which suggests it is the bottom of the engine. I see a sensor there but not like the photo in Haynes....

Hello everyone! :)

This post is intended for tuning the good old BOSCH VE injection pump diesel fuel system, where we can share questions, experiences, and advice with each other.

We are building a 205 race car, which features an XUD9/TE engine with a Bosch fuel system.

My specific question is: what possibilities are there for tuning the...

Hello,
My Peugeot 508 SW GT (2016) 2 litre HDi appears to have a fault with the Start-Stop function. I had a new Battery Protection Module fitted by my dealer (best part of £400) which at least helped with some of the related minor problems - lots of error codes.
I also have a new Bosch battery - a proper one for the start stop function.
Even...

Hi,

I just installed a towbar and wiring harness in my car.

Now the manaual from the wiring harness says i have to place a 15A fuse in the engine compartment fuse box in slot 24.

Currently there is no fuse installed in the slot, I like to know what the exact function of the fuse is before i put any in, but i can't find any useful information on...

Left our new puppy in the car for a short while and returned to find she's had a good chew of the passanger front and rear belts. Stupidly left her on our other dogs tether with too much freedom.

Don't suppose anyone knows how to remove these so that I can send them off to have the webbing replaced?

Absolutely no idea how you get to the rear...

i have newly acquired a bipper yay me it smokes on start up, but once driven , goes , however comes back again when cold ( makes me think that an injector is leaking , Thus letting diesel build up in the exhaust system, ( showing white smoke until its burnt it off from the exhaust system )

Hello,

I installed a new replacement catalytic converter with a FAP filter, and topped up the additive fluid in the tank. The car drove for several years without FAP.

After the installation we received the P1445 error, and we can't solve it.

The ECU was also replaced some years ago so it could be the wrong one.

Could you please send me the...

Hello everyone,I have a 2012 model 508 vehicle. After the installation of the PX5 android multimedia system, my start-stop system stopped working. Hi, I have recently replaced a Peugeot 208 2013, bank 1 oxygen sensor with a universal crimp-type sensor to fit onto the original plug cabling.
The supplier didn't have access to the one with the correct plug, and it was due for MOT the next day after failing emissions the first time around, so I had to make do. It passed....but

Now I am...

Is it advisable to put some sealer between the cam-housing and cam-cover gasket, perhaps Fel-pro Blue, Wellseal or similar?

Have just removed the rear cam-cover on my TU5JP4 engine as suspect slight oil leak from that gasket. Rubber seems a bit hard but maybe they are like that from new, nothing to compare it against.

Having only had my Peugeot for 6 weeks but having to use public charging several times, I'm a little disappointed at the rates I get.
According to the specifications, it's supposed to have a 100KW DC charging capability, however, I've never managed to get over 65KW rate, and that only for a couple of minutes before it drops down to ~34KW. This...

Wondering if anyone had any ideas on this issue. Will give some background info. Tyre popped after hitting a curb a while ago. Had steering tie arm and tie rod end replaced as it was bent. After this was replaced a knocking/grumbling noise started coming from the front wheels. Had tracking done and also wheel balancing, noise still present. Went...

Hi,

I've recently purchased a 3008 hybrid - very happy with it except I soon realised that there was no FM/AM signal. Zero, not even the odd station with poor quality.
Everything else on the radio works, so can play CDs, sat nav works etc..

I've had a look at fuse F37 for the hi-fi amplifier and weirdly it had a 3a fuse in place and looked...

Hi Guys, I'm a neewby here. I have a 2006 407 (from new). The CD player was chewing CDs and not spitting them out. I've got a replacement item from evil bay, and although it works perfectly, it emits a continuous beep. I take it that this is a security measure. Is there anything I can do to clear it or is it a dockyard job? TIA.

Hi guys, having a problem with my Peugeot 807 2.0 petrol . Engine oil pressure low warning pops up all the time, but engine works normally, temperature is ok. I drove more than 500km already. So I suspect of oil pressure sensor is broken or blocked . Does anyone know it's location?

Thanx
