205 Tow bar

How much is it going to approx cost to have a towing bar fitted to a 205 and wired in ? Can it be done diy or is it better for a qualified mechanic to fit it and what about the legal paper work for the installation ?.

It is easy enough to bolt on a tow bar and fitting instructions come with them. The electrics are a bit more difficult and a car specific wiring kit is preferable but can be expensive. Since you live in Spain I would get a few prices from your area for the parts and also for a fitted tow bar. If the tow bar only has primer paint on it I would paint it before fitting.

Biggest problem is likely to be finding a bar for a car that went out of production 25+ years ago! Electrics will be easy as no fancy Can bus here
