Hello, an air conditioning pipe that goes into the holes I marked in the picture broke. What is the part number or full name of this air conditioning pipe? What is its name? I was going to order it online, but I couldn't find it because I didn't know the name or part number.

Hello,

I had a small accident with my 2017 C4 Grand Picasso and bumped the front. After that, a park assist error appeared. I noticed one of the front sensors was pushed slightly into the bumper, so I removed the bumper and refitted the sensor. However, the error is still showing.

I assume the sensor may be damaged, but my question is: will the...

Hello group.
I have a problem with the front height sensor, which a mechanic who is not related to Citroen came to me with the idea of ??raising the car by 2cm, which had dropped over time.
But instead of fine-tuning the position of the sensor on the front, he moved it a lot and the car dropped completely. I kept trying to adjust it from the...

Years ago, I could go to servicebox.com, type in the VIN, and find all the features and equipment of the car. Now I see that it doesn't work anymore. Does anyone know why and how to find the full list of features of a Citroen?

Hello everyone, I have a 2007 C5 MK2 and I'm getting the P0483 cooling fan efficiency control error code. The temperature gauge is working, and I don't think the temperature sensor is faulty, but sometimes the fan runs constantly at high speed and never stops. I looked for the fan thermal resistor on the Citreön C5 MK2 but couldn't find it.

For context: I've been browsing through the internet looking for Citroen GS headrests but to no avail. Would anyone happen to know if headrests from a different car such as the CX fit the GS?

Hi,

Where is the low pressure valve for refilling AC gas? There are two silvery AC pipes, the larger AC pipe is for low pressure and the smaller pipe is for high pressure, and I should refill via low pressure valve. They both have each a gas valve port with a black cap which I think means R134A gas (grey cap means R134YF I guess).

On the low...

After my adventure with the slave cylinder supply line popping out, I find I'm still in bother. Pipe and fittings all sorted and clutch bled. However -- it now won't start.

Diagbox says clutch pedal position error. Bit confuse by this, as I had no such issue when I replaced the clutch itself. Is it a Diagbox job to tell it to get used to a new...

Will be changing my abs ecu in near future as still can't clear p1391 fault , have the the number off diagbox, for pump unit, but ecu software reference module doesn't bring up anything, can find loads of pumps with right number but they are mostly earlier models and mine is post 2010 as seen on screenshot, is there a part number for my control...

Help please. I have had my vehicle 6 years. I put diesel in tonight and after starting the car instantly up came engine fault have vehicle repaired, then it comes up and states Particle filter additive level too low: have the vehicle repaired. The car isn't adblue. I am now thinking it has the need for Eolys fluid. Knowing which type of fluid and...

Hi, I have a pre facelift 2016 Citroen hdi and for the life of me I can't find a definitive answer on cambelt change intervals and/or a service schedule.

Just bought the car with 37k miles and keen to understand the intervals for changing the belt and waterpump.

I am likely to get this done sharpish regardless.
Can anyone advise?

Cheers!

C5 X7 3.0 tourer.Front drivers side strut went, dropping car to floor and no power steering.Replacement gone again in 5 days.Does anyone have an idea where l should be looking for the problem??????

Recently my Citroën C4 PureTech 1.2 started having a strange problem. If the car has been standing for a few hours and I try to start it, it won't start.

First, the doors don't open when I unlock them with the key. The mirrors also don't fold out. After I insert the key in the ignition and turn it, the car doesn't start. I get a message on the...

Hello everyone,

I have a 2011 Citroën Berlingo 1.6 HDi (DV6 engine) with an annoying idle problem. The engine sometimes hunts at idle — the RPM dips like it’s going to stall, then recovers by itself.

It only happens at idle (never while accelerating).

If I switch on the A/C the engine rpm rises a bit and the hunting stops

Sometimes it...

Part number.
Does anyone know if there is more than one front wing type for the C5X7.
I just found out the hard way that a new near side wing supplied for our 2013 C5X7 does not fit being a little too long.
The VIN is VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff] could you please let me have a part number.
Thanks in advance.
Andy.

I'm currently diagnosing a click/knock noise from my steering rack/column.
I get a knocking noise which can be felt in the Steering wheel whilst driving, and when stopping/starting (can roll car forward and stop and hear/feel the knock)

Using PSA-COM to monitor live readings MAF reading goes down instead of up with increasing rev - is that okay?

I have just replaced the MAF and the error code is gone but I dont understand this result :?

Hi All. I read the forum nearly every day as part of a 70+ year old non mechanic trying to understand these modern motors. My question regards the renewing of the battery on my C5 Tourer. I have read and printed the recommended disconnect/connect procedure however my local tyre/battery man maintains that plugging a battery into the 12v socket in...

Hello,

Any idea about what this noise is? Like Air or something.

Hello, wondering if anyone can help. Haven’t found the same issue posted anywhere else.

When I shut the passenger side rear door it isn’t catching on the lower strike plate. So when both doors are shut the rear doors aren’t secure at all.

Is it a case of adjusting the strike plate position? Or is the door bent?

Also, if you have the same van,...

Hi all!

I tried to replace my glow plugs on my 1.6HDi Berlingo (2008) (3/4 were not working anymore, checked resistance through the relay port) and what I thought would be an easy job turned into a small nightmare, first 2 of them came out except for (part of) their electrode tip #-o
I stopped right there, not wanting to destroy the other 2.

My...

Hello All,

Some time ago I found some traces of oil on the Ac pressure sensor on my new C5X. Showing to the dealer they said that the amount of refrigerant is ok after cheking, and there is no case for warranty and also is needed to change the hole pipe. Strange enough when the sensor can be removed but they showed me the operation when the...

Hi everybone, im new in this forum to see if someone can help me with my problem.

I have a Citroen Picasso C4 that starts normally and wouldn't display the gears on the screen (it's automatic). It only shows two lines.
I replaced the gearbox, the selector sensors, and the selector lever, but nothing.
The main relay was also replaced, and all the...

Recently, had the Risk of filter clogging warning, and a quick scan gave this detail,

So far so ordinary, although the car hasn't been used for short trips, 70mh for an hour solid is more normal. The dashboard warning went away after a few restarts.

Having a look at the live data, I'm intrigued by this, taken with the engine off, and not run...

Morning, I have a C3 Picasso 120Vti, and I am about to replace the fuel pump. According to the specs, the pump has a pressure of around 3.5 bar. Is that enough to push the fuel to the injectors, or is there a high pressure fuel pump that delivers the fuel to the injectors? The car runs and idles fine on low throttle input, but as soon as I press...

Hi everyone,

My 2005 Citroën C3 (TU3JP/KFV engine) has a high idle, staying stable around 1,500 RPM, after an engine swap. I’ve already tried several things:

-Cleaning and swapping the throttle body
-Checking for vacuum leaks
-Swapping injectors
-Swapping the MAP sensor
-Checking CTS, MAP, O2 sensor values (ok)
-Measuring compression, which came...

Hey everyone,so I have inherited the old family car off my dad which is looking at bit worse for wear, I've been thinking about it(and postponing it), but decided Im going to do the work to get her in some respectable shape like I remember as a kid, and I was wondering if you guys would give me some help.

Hello good people from the French Car Forum.

I have a problem with my Citroën c5 X7

Bought the car as broken, had a melted piston.

2010 EP6DT engine with an Aisin 6 speed auto.

rebuilt the engine, the car started perfectly.
I drained all the trans fluid out when I took out the transmission, because I read that you can't drain it all out from...

Hi all,

I am new to this Forum, so I might have missed this topic while trying to search my problem.

I have a C5 X7 2.2hdi tourer with the electric tailgate. I had a problem where the third (high) braking light and electric tailgate were not working. I could operate the tailgate only manually. I opened the part where the cables go from the car...

I wondered if anyone could shed any light on the TSB for the blower motor problem on the C41 C4 please?

Citroen are going to look at mine when it goes in to service and have even ordered the parts related to the TSB. My concern is my car will work when it goes in. As it has just started doing for me. Whereas...

Hi everyone.
Currently trying to swap a camshaft sensor on my 2013 Citroen berlingo 1.6 hdi. What should be a simple job is looking lesss simple as I’ve gotten to the sensor but once the screw that holds it in place is removed the sensor can’t slide out because of a mount for the hoses that sit over it in the way. The mount looks to also hold the...

Hi,

Looking for a bit of help.

Car is citroen DS3 1.6 diesel.
Dsport 110hp on a 2010 plate.

Mount on top of gearbox for selector cables has sheared off.

My problem is I cannot figure out how to remove the outer sheath of cables from broken bracket.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

See picture for cables....

Had the spheres on my 2006 2ltr Citroen C5 changed after one of them broke and caused the car to collapse. The garage clearly had no experience in dealing with these cars. However I had to get the car dropped off by the AA somewhere and it was here. Anyway they said they had to sand the spere attachment point and then said they would no guarantee...

Hi, just been reading through a number of threads regarding C4 semi auto gearbox issues. Having had similar problems like, randomly been unable to select D M or R upon starting engine, it recently began dropping our of D to N whilst driving and has now gone into Gearbox Fault. Cannot select D M R, occaisionally says put into N to start car, which...

Hi, I have an issue with my 2005 Citroen C5 3.0 V6. The mileage is quite normal—190,000 km—but the car is in very good condition. Its only problem was, of course, the noise on startup—VVT rattle and slight oil leaks from the VVT solenoids. I replaced the complete timing belt kit along with the VVT and its solenoids. I also replaced the valve cover...

We’ve updated our rear facing car seat. The straps work perfect for my wife’s Corsa (23plate) but my C4 I can’t find a gap under for them to fit through.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

Hi, just purchased a DS3 that only came with one key. Photo attached.
I would like to get a replacement but one with a fob to allow remote unlocking. A quick look online suggest timpsons can do this.
Is this possible on the basis I currently don't have a fob. Do they code the key then I have to initialise it in the car, IE key in ignition, hold...

How can I check what battery my car should have from the factory. It’s a c4 grand Picasso 2016 1.6 diesel. The start stop has stopped working and if I switch the radio on with the engine off it goes off in about 2 mins and when I go to start it, it comes up on the screen charging modules. Just with these happening it’s leading me to believe it’s...

Hi all,

Recently started to see some problems with my good old C5 X7.
Noticed a huge lack of power at low RPM (less than approx. 2500).

Citroen C5 (X7) / 2011 (VIN VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff])
Engine: DW12C_4HL / 2.2 HDI / 150 kW (204 HP)

At first, I had no faults posted. However, after going for a drive and pushing the car hard I...

Hello,

A friend recently bought a DS3, and while driving it, I noticed that the ambient light (under the radio in front of the gear lever) was flashing orange. What does that mean? I also noticed that the lights on the air conditioning controls only stay on when the air conditioning is on. Is this normal? Or is there a problem with the ambient...

HI

I have changed the heater matrix on my grand picasso, as i was not getting any heat on the drivers side.

Where are the bleed screws so that I can purge the air from the system?

Thanks

As per the title;

This also affects a couple of Vauxhall models.

Hi again,
Her latest challenge is oil leaking from the driver's side tailgate strut.
The tailgate is the motorised variety, which basically means you stand in the rain waiting for the stupid thing to open or close, instead of just opening it the old fashioned way.
Anyhow, I've not found anything after a search, so is this a rare issue?...

Dear Forum members

This is my first post so treat me gently please excuse any mistakes

I've read through several threads specifically

Btw in the above thread, the VIN number is visible of the OP so you may ADMIN wish to edit it out

I would like to confirm a replacement battery for the following car

Regular readers might remember my fun with injectors a few weeks back -

Well, in the words of the great Roy Walker - it's good, but it's not right.

Still gives the occasional miss on idle, and still not briilliant at low rpm or light throttle. It's vastly improved, but not quite there. As a diagnostic step only, I fitted an EGR blank, which if...

My 1997 Citroen ZX 1.9D Turbo 90hp runs at 80-85c coolant temp when cruising and runs perfectly fine, enough power even when towing a camper. When driving up long hills however, the temperature slowly creeps up past 90c, although never past 100c, but it gradually loses power. I suddenly realize I am foot to the floor barely maintaining 70kmh....
