DS7 Crossback - wing mirror

Unread post by EssexGuy »

Hi folks

New to this forum - but new to owning French cars.

Anyway, wondering if you can help me, please?

Managed to reverse up my driveway last night and, as I dd so, very stupidly caught the right hand wing mirror on the brick pillar wall. I managed to successfully damage the wing mirror surround and have started to source the parts - but need some help identifying one bit, please!

I've ordered the top cover and the indicator strip. The bottom cover is undamaged - but there's a black surround that is the very front part of the wing mirror assembly, but which tucks behind the mirror glass itself (sorry, not describing it very well). It looks like a separate component - but I'm not sure it is and think iot might be part of the bottom assembly.

Can anybody advise, please? If it is a separate component, what's it called? If I search for wing mirror cap/cover/surround or anything like that, I just get the top cover ....

Really grateful for any info/guidance

Thanks

Guy

Apologies - forgot to attach images before.

Attached now; two of the broken right hand wing mirror shroud and one of the intact left hand mirror for comparison
