My wifes Renault scenic 1,9 DCI year 2008 is very slow at low speed, bad acceleration.
After nearly 1800 rpm the turbo kicks in and manifold pressure increases to up to 35 psi.
I have checked the vacum pipes for the waste gate.
I have replaced the MAP sensor and the pressure regulator valve for the wastegate.

The wipers stopped working and maybe the fault is in the UPC, because it does not give power to the wiper motor. I decided to take the UPC out on the table to check it but how do you take the white box out off the black cover without breaking anything?

I need to replace the A/C condenser on our Clio 4 BUT having a quick look it's looking like a HUGE job possibly requiring the front bumper etc being removed.

I have a replacement rad already just need some advice swapping them over please.

I did our previous car(Citroen) and that was easy and straight forward.

For some reason recently everytime I put my foot on the break pedal the rear wiper moves slowly when it is switched of at the control stalk. It then stops if I lift my foot of the brake pedal.The rear wiper works as it should when switch on at the control stalk. Any ideas? Is there a control module for the rear wiper. Hi I've just bought a megane 2009 it has a rain sensor that doesn't work (if the stalk is set time auto it does nothing)

I've removed the sensor and I've always been under the impression there should be a gel pad between the sensor and the window but there wasn't.

Am I mistaken in this or should there be a gel pad?

Something has happened when I changed starter motor - the wiring loom is sooooo short I suspect some wirings has broken inside the loom.

My problem is I have removed the small seal that is located inside the piston on the handbrake rod and can't remember which way round it goes !!!!! It’s a Z/KZIG/KZ1G06 ... 2011. Diesel. Manual.

Whilst jump starting the car with the assistance of a 'Helpful Friend', my attention lapsed for a mo and I didn't notice he'd attached the jump leads the wrong way round!

There was a bit of a nasty smell and we both then went to the pub. Have we killed the car or will it just have blown a fuse? I did a quick check, but they all seemed not to have...

I think I have cocked up and allowed the brake fluid reservoir to empty while bleeding the rear brakes after swapping the rear axle hard lines for flexible lines. (I blame the ridiculous location of the reservoir buried behind the cylinder head!).
After topping up the reservoir, the left rear brake bleeds OK with apparent normal brake pressure....

I have a 2002 renault clio 1.2 with a screaming alternator belt. It should be a simple job but the only problem is that my car has the air con unit that sits on top of the alternator and belt.
How do i get to the belt? will i have to remove the AC unit? or will i have to get acces elsewhere? :-D

When draining the oil, I stupidly first drained the gearbox oil - as i didnt have a manual and aimed for the obvious drain plug.
I now need of course to top up the gearbox oil.

The blowers on my Scenic Mk3 have stopped working. I noticed water in the driver's side footwell so have cleared the scuttle drains. What else do I need to check to try and get it working again.
Nothing is blowing at all from the blowers.

The radiator cooling fan on my Clio has stopped coming on when the engine gets hot.

Have checked the fuse in the panel inside the car, but don't know if a fuse or relay in the engine bay fusebox has blown.

Can photograph this fusebox if necessary.

The fan works if the + is connected directly to the battery.
