Hello everyone,
I have a Peugeot 3008 1.6 HDi Diesel 2015 and Gearbox Fault” flash for a second, sudden shift to N while braking. I’m getting these fault codes when scan with diagbox:
P0949 — “Clutch Programming Not Finished or Done”
P0868 — “Transmission Fluid Pressure Low”
P0944 — “Hydraulic Pressure Unit Loss of Pressure”

it is having problem shifting gears.

SO when i start the car the gears work fine. after about 2minutres or sometimes 5min,
when i shift from any position do D the vehicle will jump( like when you put a manual car in gear and quickly let clutch go a little)

I have a Peugeot 405 srdt station wagon breaking up to anyone interested. The engine is toast. I had the injector pump and injectors reconditioned as well as the turbo.

Pic #1 is after the top was taken off plus drained Pic #2 - seems something was alive in the pits of the filter

Is there any way I can perform a resistance test on the primary and secondary wiring of the above coil pack? I know how to test if a car has separate coil packs, but my 206 has a 'coil-on-rail' coil pack (if that is the correct description).

The P1336 and P1339 are going to be the same thing.

You can do the same as PaulC5 suggests, and swap the injectors around and see if the fault moves. Remember, the cylinders are numbered from the gearbox end, NOT the crankshaft pulley end!

Take your time removing the injectors, they will be stuck in the head! Squirt a bit of WD-40 (or whatever)...

Just to say I’ve done 200 miles today it was slightly stiff to select first gear when cold, but a mile up the road and things definitely improved seems a lot smoother 3rd to 4th ,miles better and so is 5th to 4th, not perfect but I can’t certainly live with for the time being before investing in another gearbox.

When it's a reversible alternator/starter it usually has 2 ancillary belt tensioners as when it's doing either function the tension changes sides, when it's in charging mode the crank is pulling on the alternator but when it's in starting mode the alternator pulls on the crank if that makes sense.

Hello I have a 2.0 HDI 2013 Expert that throws it's into limp mode-hardly any power unable to climb a hill.

Brings on the EML and states Engine management fault. The only code is P0489 related to EGR.

It has 60k on the clock.

This topic gives a description for P0489 and things to check but the topic was not finished so we do not know what the solution was. Maybe you could unplug the egr valve connector and see if the fault code changes. If your code reader does live data see if the values look ok and note down the freeze frame data stored when the code was last stored...

my partner has fuelling problems and their is no leak off coming through leak off pipes.
Plenty fuel in tank
filter is good
new fuel pressure sensor
new fuel pressure regulater
Its a 9hp eengine, and 2013 ehdi semi auto

I always keep 0il a bit under, as its a very mucky wee engine, poor CCV design dragging allsorts into the intake, fuel pressure isnt really moving from 14 bar, hence the AA recovery guy saying about the HPFP, i may bite the bullet and either buy the common rail fuel pressure tester high or buy a 2nd hand fuel pump, not made up ma mind,

Probably one for the old school diesel guys, but any thoughts much appreciated.

I have a 1993 GLX D Turbo which very occasionally loses power. This doesn’t happen every drive and isn’t related to engine temperature or fuel level in the tank.

Ok,

Update. We have replaced the fuel lines from where they join onto the metal fuel pipes at the bulkhead to the filter. The seals in the filter housing have been changed also. This is the filter housing that uses the Purflux C180 paper element, so I think it was the seal at the top that seals the aluminium element housing.

AA towed me homeand said the partner 2013 ehdi needs a fuel pump, its a 9hp model, Ive tryed changing the fuelm pressure regulater, sensor and fuel filter
Tryed a leak off test and no fuel coming through injectors.

Had it on diagbox and done a few videos of live data but cant work out how to post them here
How do i test the HPFP

My old 2000 model Pug 806 gear knob has just literally fallen to bits in my hand.
There's what appears to be a plastic 'adapter' with two 'wings' fixed to the metal gear lever which is also broken.
I think this adapter screws off to be replaced with the new gear knob but I'm not 100% sure . Most youtube vids show this adapter left in place with...

I'm about to head off travelling for a year. Against my wife's wishes and possibly better judgement, I've decided not to scrap the '08 308 with 200k on the clock, instead I'm going to park it up while I'm away.

I have been chasing the cure for this annoying problem on my 5008 mk1 , When I am breaking sharp at moderate to high speed I get this steering wheel vibration shaking symptom.

I have had NO low additive warning messages.

After re mortgaging I filled with diesel and a few moments later got the message
ENG MAN FAULTY RISK OF FILTER BLOCKING

Eolys tank is empty. Ive ordered the fluid to refill and Im hopeful my local gatage has yhe necessary software to reset the ecu.

If I recall correctly, Eolys doesn't have a tank level sensor system, it just 'estimates' based off how much fluid it adds and subtracts that from 'full'.
So one explanation would be... If someone had not fully re-filled the tank previously, but did reset the level in the ECU to 'full', then it would run out before the ECU thought it was 'low'.

Yes, throttle body new. As I said the engine is running quieter, smoother with a little more pull. LTT at -0.78. A little flutter on the revs when cold, otherwise runs fine.

Hi all.
I am getting conflicting advice regarding the correct glow plugs for my 2004 307 sw 2.0 hdi RHR.
Internet sites can't seem to decide between 106 and 118mm.
So....Correct length? Is there a preferred manufacturer? Best part number?

I've recently acquired the responsibility for repairing a L plate 306.
This is the boring of the boring but runs and drives fine. It has developed a leak from the fuel pump from the back distributor end. I've owned several Bosch Turbo 306s and have had the engines out and in pieces, rebuilt two into one rat etc.

Hi,

I've got another picture, having busy on other stuff for a bit.
It appears to be the joint between the steel, distribution side and the main pump. The fuel is in the recessed joint but not on either side and it doesn't seem to be the cap on the injector pipe side. Can this seal be done in situ? Is it worth trying?

Hi.... getting an intermittent error with my speed sensor ( and the odd hiccup on the road).
I think it's just a bad connection to the engine speed sensor.....but having difficulty finding the exact location.

Update!
Sensor plug clean seems to have done the trick.
800kms of driving since and it has not come back.
I have the new part in the spares kit but I think I'll just run with the existing as it seems fine.

I'm suspecting I have a faulty fuel pressure regulator (DV6TED4 HZ engine)
The actuator test in Diagbox says to touch the regulator and feel it vibrate.
Mine does nothing but I can hear (but not feel) a click on an off while the actuator test is running.
Is this correct or have I actually found the smoking gun?

I have acquired a boxer 2.2hdi euro 5 on a 2015 plate.

Previous owner had had the engine changed and then the head replaced and timing belt changed.

Unusual for a turbo failure and a cam belt failure. Turbo failure I will put down to incorrect oil or over extended between changes. Cam belt, 160000km or 10 years but it depends on usage, stop start local running etc.
Cam belt kits are cheap if you can do them yourself.
Oil changes very cheap, don't skip oil changes, either on mileage or time....

Yes, gives a different code if they’re unplugged. The code is for the crash sensor which is wired directly in to the airbag ecu afaik - it doesn’t go via the seats
