Hi all, hope someone can offer some advice.

My satnav (MyWay) has lost my position, and has me sitting in Europe somewhere. Had the car for 7 years and it's never done it before.

I've searched the forum for a similar issue but not really found an answer.

I have done a ..
1. Factory Reset
2. Firmware upgrade
.. but still not resolved it.

I saw...

Hi! I'm new here and I need some help from you. I have a Citroen C5 Tourer 2009, with MyWay system. When I bought this car (2 weeks ago) it had 2009-2010 maps and rneg20 firmware. I found to install the latest rneg50 and also the maps 2016-2017. It was working fine but from time to time was self restarting. I also changed some settings from the...

I'm having problems with a RNEG unit in my C5 2012. The original headunit suffered from restarting issue. So I decided to swap it for another RNEG (MyWay). Now it doesn't restart, it works fine, bur on dash display it says Zone not mapped , whereas on the central 7 display map info is correctly displayed.
Any solutions to this one?

Hi all,

New member called Tim here.

Last week I bought a left hand drive 2011 C5 Estate automatic. Have to say it is a lovely car to drive and is, as far as I can tell after 1750 miles, faultless. My last car was a Mondeo with an MP3 capable CD. The C5 has what I think is an R NEG radio.CD.Navi system.

I am pretty computer literate but I have a...

I am considering purchasing a MyWay head unit, screen etc (as required) from a wrecker here in Australia. The main reason, but not the only one is to maybe get a better tuner and amplifier as part of the process. Can anyone advise if the Harman Becker audio part is any improvement on the standard audio that you get in the base model. I think in my...

Hello,
I just joined this forum to search some information on replacing my RNEG with something newer e.g. RT6. Can you please advise what can be recommended in my case. VIN of my C5 is VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]. Not really sure if I need to replace HU and screen and anything else? I would be mostly interested in having mirror link.
Best Regards
Igor

Hello,

We have recently bought a 2010 Peugeot 308 which has (according to the label) the RNEG5 head unit with the pop up display screen. It is running firmware which reports itself as rneg_D_R20quin_R20.14 and which I suspect hasn't been upgraded since the car was delivered.

Following the instructions in MyWay (RNEG) Firmware Upgrade Procedure I...

Hello Guys,

So I have a Citroen c 5 2010(3.0 hdi) which has an sd card slot which for some reason doesnt read mp3. The AUX has terrible sound quality. So from what I know the only other way to listen to music, except having 10 CDs in my car, is to use an USB car interface. I bought one for RD4 but it seems it doesnt work. Could someone please...

Hello all! My name is Ionut, i'm from Romania, i'm new here and i need a bit of information: i have an 2010 Citroen C5, 2.0 HDI, 16V, 138 hp, wich camed equiped with a MyWay navigation system. Can you just swap the head units or is there a bit more involved to upgrading. Just thought i'd ask before I start looking at citroens that are breaking on ebay.

Gary.

Hi All
I've got a 2011 C5 Tourer. It's the 1.6 eHDI with the Navi head unit.
There are two connections in the glove compartment (one red, one white) that allow connection to the radio for phones / mp3 players etc.
Problem is when I use a connecting cable and plug my phone in, the sound is absolutely awful, you couldn't listen to anything using...

Greetings,

I have been a fan of this site for a long time and never had reason to post...until now...but I'm confident someone will have the answer....

1. The sat nav on my 2011 C5 VTR+Nav (My way system) appears to be about 20-30mtrs out...it will place me on the roads I am on, so laterally it is fine, but upon coming on a junction it appears...

My newly purchased '09 C5 tourer has one issue. I cannot get the satnav to work, all it shows is 'navigation not available, please insert medium'. I have the SD card and that has been tested on a laptop to show it does have files on it - no idea if anything critical is missing.
I've read about the high cost from the main dealer over new maps, but...

Hi Guy's
I have read my answer on here a month back but can't find it again now, I want my navigation arrow to point in the direction that I am going but it keeps changing although it does get me to where I want to go. My old tom tom would always point to the front of the car my MyWay points to the front then the back and then to the front...

So I finally installed the Yatour in my 2010 Citroen C5 (with RNEG navi), however it appears to malfunction. It has been correctly installed by a Citroen dealer and the CD-Changer function has been activated via DiagBox/Lexia. It appears to power-up and is correctly sensed by the main unit when it is connected as CD-Changer

But:

- even if I...
