I don't have knowledge of the Peugeot, but the issue of a loose connection is known with several makes of car.
I doubt the piece of plastic holding the cable to the floor will cause an issue with the air bag light, but an intermittent loose connection in the plug and socket almost certainly will. Check for a good electrical connection within. Look...

Looking at the C5x7
~

Interesting the Warranty value is low but the user value (bottom) is med/high

and that the C5Mk1/=face is higher than the X7 (the German Citroen)

I'm guessing the various specific faults would mainly be....
Air conditioning 10.37% - holed condenser or leaking pipe (common early fault).
Axle & Suspension 15.85% - leaking front Hydractive struts ?
Steering system 14.02% - obviously the rubbishy leaking steering rack and/or pipe joins.
Electrical 30.79% - Duff BSI/fusebox ? That surely can't...

In my collection of automotive artefacts I have quite a thick booklet of Renault's Range of Cars available in January 1979...

I was amazed at just what an extensive range it was!

The R4, R5, R12, R14, R15/17 ( 8-)), R16, R18, R20 and R30 :o

I was quite amazed to see the R16 will still available at such a late date...

It's a lovely booklet...

Well having tried out one of these in London, and used it several times.

It would appear that there is also a place in the Milton Keynes area.

I first found about the former when it was featured on 5th Gear.

I have the DRL led's connected to their feed wires as shown
I have a pick up from the Side lights live feed side to the bulbs, direct to the yellow wires

Now the problem I am getting is I get LIVE on the Black (Earth) wire when I turn on the sidelights before I connect them to the battery (temp to test...

chaps..where I live right now, I have wifi access from a router somewhere.BT broadband. I think the landlord has 2 routers and 2 lines.. my router maybe for tenants..

I would like BT sport, but not sure how I can watch it.. if I go to the BT sport website, I can only watch if its activated.. which needs a BT id and password..

I don't bother with tape at all as I have a dual bay NAS that I can easily grab in the case of a fire as all two connections on it, power and Ethernet will disconnect with the slightest amount of force so I could grab it in the case of fire and such like but am also installing a second one remotely that will do daily synchs over tinterwebs.

Stripping them aint a game for me either... im just not wastefull and try to limit waste as much as possible... theres one hdi xantia left almost complete minus bumpers but rotton around the rear but currently hidden away until space is made.. but there is currently no intention of taking anything else in to strip down unless its FOC but that too...

Yeah both would be the face lifts, the other option for us would be a 5 and a 7 seat C-Max, which because of where I work would be a little common. I also think Peugeots tend to have better a better ride than Fords for my style of driving.

I was wondering if there was a list of suitable PSA units for this procedure.

Ultimately its going to depend on if there is *any* obstruction down the tube to the bottom of the sump really I guess. I am aware the DW8 received a small update at some point (something along the lines of modified for suction draining )

Been to see daughter No2 this weekend who lives getting on for 200 miles away to see her (honest) and to change the injection pump on her fiancee's Land Rover. All went well with that but I noticed one of the aux belts was de-laminating so off to the motor factors, which is miles away because they live in the middle of nowhere.

Bolk belts and pumps?

Hi guys,
Have any of you used BOLK parts from the factors? Been nosing about at cambelt and waterpump kit for the wagon, found a few kits, lucus, gates, oem, and the BOLK kit, most kits are in the £70+ bracket, the Bolk one is a fair bit cheaper, just wondered if was a decent kit or not??

We all know that bolt diameter and head size are not exclusive, especially when it comes to cars, but should it take more than 5 minutes to find one? specifically, its the ABS bolt as i bloody snapped mine didn't I!

i'm looking for an m6 bolt but with a 13mm head. all i can find (and all i have to hand) have the usual 10mm head so the face of the...

Yes there are those who get in and drive off on their DRL LED'S at night so not having any rear lights on.

the problem is dashboards that light up with the ignition on and not the lights. i see at least one a week thats fallen to this, or the DRL on but no lights. i usually flash them like a maniac which just makes them confused!

No excuse, some French cars have done this for ever...

Again, its people not concentrating on what they're doing!

Quick question....LHD/RDH headlamp units, is the Main-Beam Reflector angle the same with only dip being sided ?.

The set of projectors I have are Dip/Full Beam type with a flip down shield that masks the pattern.................I was testing them the other night vrs a S1 car headlamp unit....MILES better...must crack on with it as soon as I can sort out the modification to the glass (for which I have a cunning plan) which I wish to retain.
