I can't be the only person to have noticed that while the original suspension and steering bits on most PSA vehicles are good for ten years and six figure mileages plus, as soon as you start using aftermarket bits, those lifespans seem to shorten dramatically. This seems to apply to 'quality' aftermarket too.

Just thought I would mention I saw a pack with 3x 2 dose bottles for £6 in Teaco yearerday for both petrol abd diesel engines. I personally dont normally use it, going for Shell/BP good stuff every 3 or 4 tanks instead. May benefit someone though, feel free to move if its in the wrong forum, thought it may get noticed a bit more here.

Is there anyone that have had problems with play in the ends of the steering rack?

I managed to wear out one tyre very fast due to this problem. I managed do remove most of the play by tightening the 18mm plastic internal hex plug that compress the bushing that is pressing a plastic slide bearing that keeps the rack pressed against the pinion....

Anyone know of aftermarket suppliers? Pal has a 5008 and pug want £100 + painting + VAT for ONE new sensor :shock: Wonder if it may well be the same as the C5s ones that are prone to filling up with water.

My laptops becoming prity much torturous to use. It's so slow on the internet compared to everyone else's and it takes an age to open or do anything.

After many years and many miles of Citroen ownership I'm no longer a Citroen owner, no longer even a French car owner.

The obvious car to replace my C5 with was a newer C5, an X7 in fact. Citroen changed the practical hatchback into a less practical saloon and that meant that I'd need a C5 estate if I was to get another Citroen. Searching for C5s...

I had the Berlingo remapped, it's gone from 90bhp to a dyno'd 123bhp and 201lb/ft of torque.

Haven't had chance to drive it much until today due to sending other parts away for refurb.

What a difference! I can use a higher gear, thus lower revs almost everywhere and it gives a genuine shove in the back when you ask it to.

Not mine but a V6 Activa owner in Brazil

The Fuel and Speedo have stopped and he reports problems with the circuit board being the problem....not sure what exactly the problem is atm so a bit of a general question

In the Activa I have a fitted Sony head unit with a AutoLeads adaptor and wheel control lead, works great.
I have a multi plug with the feed taken from the ciggi lighter power supply....works great

IF I plug in any of the phone chargers etc, reception quality drops.
