Given the number of 'After-sales campaign' notices concerning Takarta Airbags I have been made aware of when looking up parts from PSA for members, I thought I would post a link to the following documentary that may be informative concerning the issue with these igniters.

According to Takata, the chemicals in the airbags’ explosive charge can...

Disruption to Parts Service

This has caused some problems for organisations like ours and the Team are currently looking at the best way forward. This...

Andy,
Those things are made out here and are a fairly common mower.
Do you have a particular problem or is it that you need it for some other reason?
I can have a look around although I can't say that I've ever seen a Gregory's service manual for one of those but there could be some actual Victa info available.
Do you have an actual model number...

Has anyone got one of these they don't want - or maybe could just scan & email some pages?

Considering the 308 began life in the early 70's as the 308 dino, and was then rebodied in the 'Magnum' style body it's not done too bad over time. I've driven a 328 GTBi and whilst it was nice, some fairly ordinary scoobies would blow it away these days, but a 360 Stradale on the other hand...
Compared to the Marinas, Cortinas and Vivas that...

I think it ends up as traffic film stuck to my windscreen. Either that or the horrible black muck that turns my pollen filter black.

Here`s one for you all. What happens to all the rubber from tyres from all the motors on the road?Think about all the tread that you lose off your tyres, yet you dont see any on the roads.I wonder how many tons or so that wear away each year.
I read about this the other week, one of those Here`s one for yah questions.

Scimitar

I've always thought they looked as though they would be quite fun - shame about the shape and that excessively tall screen.
I don't know how the chassis withstands rust, but at least the bodywork is fibreglass.
Performance is adequate and probably a fun car on a sunny day.

Just been looking at prices for the 80's Scimitar SS1 and they seem temptingly low. Thought it would be cool to 'treat' myself to convertable sports car, read that they are great fun to drive, aesthtically challenged also very reliable or the exact opposite. Anyone got opinons/experience?

I've paid about £45 for a weekend a few years ago. A twin axle job with a tilting bed.

Going to pick up my new (to me) FIAT124 tommorrow in SUNNY Chippenham.
I'm hiring a trailer to bring it back, cost just £40 for the day all inclusive with straps.
I think that's very reasonable.

Had a good one yesterday. Driving in Boston, pulled over to the right hand side of the road to park in a marked bay, driver's door to kerb. No pedestrians within 50 yards. Stopped, applied parking brake and switched off, released seat belt, total time probably 10 seconds. Opened door and nearly collected a guy riding his bike on the pavement. And...

So 1 BX TGD estate(ex TOM S)

It now runs without the associated pressure problems that Tom had.
