Given the number of 'After-sales campaign' notices concerning Takarta Airbags I have been made aware of when looking up parts from PSA for members, I thought I would post a link to the following documentary that may be informative concerning the issue with these igniters.

According to Takata, the chemicals in the airbags’ explosive charge can...

Disruption to Parts Service

As you may be aware, the consolidation of the old PSA to the Stellantis Group systems has resulted in both a merge of data tools and a requirement to migrate PSA accounts to Stellantis Systems.

This has caused some problems for organisations like ours and the Team are currently looking at the best way forward. This...

Its a while since I started a new topic but just in case 4,755 topics in this section of the forum are not stimulating enough to elicit an active response here is a 4,756 th to try.

With the bar on its lowest ever setting I would regard 2 active posts with appropriate images as a runaway success for the new thread.

Define it how you like but...

I took a picture the other day of a fishing boat. Not unusual I do like a ship/boat image. The image is not particularly outstanding but no place collecting all things water transport together as a nice subject matter. Until now.

A pair of O's to start.

I generally keep an eye on the parts thread for interest but this morning Marc answered a request for some part numbers and as usual gave a full answer with the numbers and prices:

You can see the thread here.

The point I am picking up on is the cost of a single injector. It means a full set is around £2.5k compared to a new carburetor eg this...

Quite a lot of the time it is the 'badge' that inflates the price. I remember an article (many years ago) where a London based company was making fuel injector pumps. When they sold these pumps in their own packaging they were around £900. However, this same pump was also used in BMW vehicles, and when it was in BMW packaging it was £1,600.

I...

Yes its been Clio day today for me, but where did the name come from and is it any good?

If you are well up on Greek Mythology maybe Clio means something, or if you are familiar with the works of Carlo Franzoni you may well make the connection to his Car of History sculpture in the US Capitol. In general though its a fairly meaningless word which...

With the Coronavirus causing some issues with food supplies (or, rather, some selfish people buying up all the food they can get their hands on) I thought it might be a good idea to start a thread where we can post up simple recipes for us to try, and to help us to get through this crisis. Please, wherever possible, use recipes that do not require...
