Re the 407 door seal issue and airbag warnings, after a few days of rain and testing with the hose, I gave up as water was still pooling on top of the bottom door seal and then running inside the car.

My solution was to put a few holes thru the seal with a leather hole punch tool which seems to allow the water to exit (the door seal gets squashed...

Just brought a pre reg 2018 DS5, it came with the pump no spare wheel, does anyone know if this car should have come with a Jack etc, as the only thing it came with is the pump and the screw in towing eye bolt, the moulding has the spaces for Jack etc.

I have a DS 7 crossback, I have seen on there connected apps.when you select it it starts downloading apps however nothing happens! Can anyone enlighten me please?? Also the mirror link is temperamental. I have connected the car to WiFi so don't have a clue. Anyone??

I have Android 7.1.1 and this won't be updated by Motorola apparently. However, the ConnectedCAM app only requires Android 5.0 and above, so it should work. If a higher level than 7.1.1 is necessary, then it would mean a new phone #-o .

Any one managed to fit a spare wheel under the boot? I see it has loads of space wondered if the old DS5s had them? Space saver or otherwise or has anyone managed to get a full size alloy as a spare?

It depends on the variant as to which ones had a spare wheel. The ones that did had a spare wheel carrier mechanism that when operated, released the spare wheel from the housing.

The Hybrid models certainly didn’t have a spare wheel carrier, nor did some other models, instead having the boot storage box fitted and the tyre repair kit.

Hi to all.
I'm having problems finding which is the reverse live on my DS4 2013.
I've had the bumper repaired, and while it was off the guy drilled/sprayed/fitted my £8 Ebay reversing sensors.
I said I'd finish the wiring off.
Easy.
No it's not.
I've got the emanuals prog installed but it won't let me look at wiring diagrams without the RPO...

I understood it was pin 2, but the drawing is configured 624513, not 123456 or 654321, which confused me.
Anyway, I had to strip the side trims etc out to get at the cables and unwrap them to find the 2205 number, which I'd have preferred not to do.
2205 is the grey wire, so it must be 123456 from the bottom up, brown being...

Suffice it to say, I turned mine off. Me too. Apart from anything else it's a large current draw without the battery being under charge. This will only accelerate the degradation of said battery and removal of money from your wallet earlier than needs be.

I need to fit a front and rear dashcam to the car but i need the fusebox diagram.

Ok, so you have the sender gauge unit without pump.

You'll need a suitable tool to remove the fixing ring:

Disconnect the battery.
Remove the rear seat.

I am looking for a fuse for the OBD socket as I have no power at the OBD. It was working fine a few months ago, but I recently had to plug in diagnostics and found I have no power. I have a DS5 2014. I am considering the DS7 for my next car. I’ve notices some have chrome fake exhaust trim and some have black plastic. From research it seems the petrol models have chrome while diesel just have black plastic. Can anyone confirm if this is the case? If so is it possible to spec the diesel with chrome as it’s a diesel...

Thanks for the quick reply. From what I can gather while speccing a car is the two smaller engines have black plastic while the two larger have chrome. Regardless of which trim level is selected. Which is a shame as I wanted Prestige but also wanted the smaller 1.5 Diesel engine.

Hi all been away from the forum for a while now,but back in the fold with my 2013 2.0l hdi DS5
I use a local mechanic to do the servicing,he is a good guy and you know he has done what he says,
he has changed both front disks and pads as I had a vibration under braking and alls well now
and so after 10,000 miles I need a service,thats no problem...

Problem solved. It turns out that after the specialist used diagnostics, the fault was a wheel speed sensor. They are part of the bearing so the whole unit had to be changed. All working OK now.

DS4 What exhaust is this?

So I've just bought this DS4 and it seems to have a rather odd exhaust pipe... Is this some sort of upgrade? I've looked online at others for sale and can't find any with a visible exhaust pipe.

The car is a 1.6 HDI 110.

Ok, sorry.
Was not lol-ing AT you. Rather thought I was WITH you, but hey-ho.
Pretty sure the standard exhaust should be hidden behind the bumper, with a down turn at the end to deflect gasses downwards, away from the plastic. If I'm right, the exhaust you currently have is hanging BELOW the bumper and is therefore significantly lower than it...

After fixing my last issue :-D , which was my last topic raised (Start/Stop Issue Advise needed, Belt Tension?) Which involved replacing both aux belt tensioners and belt. I believe that now the belt has the correct tension the A/C compressor bearing is having a heart attack :shock: . Hard to describe, like a rhythmic metal scraping...

Hi, I had to replace the part. Given it was only £20 (off the internet) but Citroen wanted to charge £80... I wasn't too bothered.

Apparently they are known to go (as resistors do) and I could have probably re-soldered a replacement resistor for less than £2 but as said it as a cheap fix anyway.

Dear all,

today on my Citroen DS5 2014, 2.0 Hdi 133Kw, turn on the light for AdBlue. I buy 15l of AdBlue on gas station and fill up the tank for AdBlue, but the light don t turn off and it says that in 1.100km the engine won t start again.

Did anyone have this kind of problem on his vehicle?

I didn't but others have. My Adblue warning on the 308 disappeared immediately after refilling but others have found that they need to drive the car a few times for it to register.

DS4 Parking sensors

Hi everyone, this is my first post here. Currently own a C5 2.0 hdi and a ds4 2.0hdi

Recently purchased the DS4 2.0 hdi dsport 2012.

Unfortunately, the parking sensors - front and rear - are not working. No errors show on the dash as I would have expected and the switch for the parking sensors doesnt do anything - ie the light doesnt come on...
