Belt or Chain

Good afternoon all,

I have been lurking around on the site for a while and decided to register and ask a question :)

Does anyone know if the 2012 model DS5 2.0 HDI has a cambelt or a cam-chain? I havent got the car with me to check the VIN as i m on the motorbike and away from home for a few days.

We’ll need the reg or VIN to confirm, but all the 2.0 litre DS5s have timing belts.

Ok, so you have the DW10CTED4 engine. So chain to link the 2 camshafts and standard timing belt as normal.
