I don't have knowledge of the Peugeot, but the issue of a loose connection is known with several makes of car.
I doubt the piece of plastic holding the cable to the floor will cause an issue with the air bag light, but an intermittent loose connection in the plug and socket almost certainly will. Check for a good electrical connection within. Look...

There were 2.77, 2.80, 2.85 & the latest 2.86 ... nothing worth mentioning, some bug fixes and stability issues (which mostly target hybrid cars like the DS5 & RXH), no new functionalities. You usually don't lose anything by upgrading, but I honestly don't know of anyone who actually benefited with the upgrades

Improving sound quality

Hi All

Coming from an Audi A6, the only part of my C5 i want to updated is the sound systems.
The car is fitted with the RT6 AUDIO/TELEPHONE REMOTE DISPLAY

A few question:

What is the best route to improve the sound quality?
Can someone recommend a company who could take on the work if required?
