Revers on Sat Nav (RT6)

This unit is the eMyWay system, also referred to as RT6, RNEG2, or WIPNAV+ for the Peugeot platform and made by Magneti Marelli.

2011 c5 e-hdi 1.6 egs6. Now we all know what car I drive. Do we think it is poss. to link my own reversing cam. to the myway satnav that came with the car???????

Not as simple as wiring in a camera I'm afraid. Head unit needs to be able to support it and IIRC the correct parking sensor ECU.

There is an aftermarket addon which plugs between the head unit and display and simply takes over the display when you put the car in reverse.

Yes at over £200 for one and no price on the other, and somewhere to fit the suitcase sized interface.... :rofl2:

As I said, there are certain hardware revisions of the MyWay unit and the later e-MyWay which need to have the integrated video chip inside the unit as well as the correct ECU if you are going for an OEM solution. The issue you have is output to the head unit and compatibility, so if you are really determined, then why not consider an over rear view mirror reversing camera solution that ACE did here - a much cheaper alternative and looks better, without interfering with your existing system:
