According to Takata, the chemicals in the airbags’ explosive charge can...

Disruption to Parts Service

As you may be aware, the consolidation of the old PSA to the Stellantis Group systems has resulted in both a merge of data tools and a requirement to migrate PSA accounts to Stellantis Systems.

This has caused some problems for organisations like ours and the Team are currently looking at the best way forward. This...

Are you sure the 1.5 is a Renault engine? I had a Vauxhall Astra 1.7Dti which is actually an Isuzu engine not a Vauxhall engine, if that's the case you could have problems on the electronic side of things. I'm sure someone here will know more.

What tool do I need to use to remove the plug and how many litres of oil is recommended?
Many thanks in advance.

Yes, it is steel subframe.
Maybe this construction is only in the BlueHDI version of this engine, since when I started to look in the web how to change oil in the manual gearbox the setup was a little bit different. I mean, there were no collision to get the drain plug. This is only my guessing since I am not the mechanician

Hi all, just joined, hello! I recently purchased a 2011 RCZ 200 bhp needing a bit ( lot ) of love! My local Garage, a Classic Car specialist tried extremely hard to put me off buying one, Head Gaskets, Timing Chain issues and Oil Leaks amongst many other things, they failed, I love a challenge! I’m in Buckinghamshire and would like to know if any...

Things have gone quiet with this. I've messaged Abdul but the message is still sitting in the Outbox and he hasn't logged in to here for 10 days or more. Hopefully the problem has been fixed locally.

My name is Odin I'm a 19 year old from Norway. I've just bought a 1996 Xantia activa 2.0L 16v and I'm looking forward to trying to restore to some of it's former glory.

My only previous experience working with cars is getting the 2cv my dad bought about 10 years ago running again, which has been a blast so far! Not surprisingly the Activa seems...

Hi, and :welc: to the Forum.

With reference to the strut tops there is a company based in Lithuania who refurbish them in a way that looks to be safer than the original. While I do not have personal experience of them, I remembered the thread;

Still a newbie but free up with Citroëns, my parents owned an AX and then a Saxo, this one is still theirs!

Me, being a bit more old-school, I own a CX and I love that pachyderm of a car, unfortunately still under maintenance for correcting the mistreatment over the years and a bad condition coolant system!

See you soon 😉

Thank you @NewcastleFalcon!
While, at the time, I do not have a french car, I still enjoy this forum nevertheless.

Thanks Alin, and nice to see your post on Pictures of the Day. Like quite a few on the French Car Forum, I have the flimsiest connections with French Cars now, a Renault Clio in the maintenance fleet, but like yourself I still...

Hi All,

I have owned french cars since I passed my test, with my first 3 cars being Citroen BXs, followed by a couple of 205's, a 208, and my latest french fancy being a C2 1.6 16v Code.

I'm pretty hands on and so far there's nothing I haven't been able to tackle myself. Think the years of BX ownership taught me most things - everything is...

Welcome Sim :D

That's quite a magical selection of cars you've had there :D

I fully get the C2 love - it's a natural successor to the AX and Saxo :D

I've had a few 205s in my time...

Do enjoy the forum and make yourself very much at home here :)

Hi everybody

I am currently running a 2016 Boxer 2.2 HDI for work, and have always been a fan of Peugeot as a work-horse and family car. Recently had a clutch problem which now seems to be good, but wanted to share the experience.

Hi all,

New member joined today, helping my 17 year old daughter who has just bought a lovely DS3 1.6HDi 120 Prestige as her first car. As the budget of a 17 year old is tight, and as my children like diagnosing and fixing cars together with me, we took a punt on a 2-owner 153k mile example - lovely condition, full history, all the toys, and...

Have been a French car enthusiast for a while, probably the influence of my father who had a Renault Dauphine Gordini and a Renault 4CV. I've owned a Megane, a Clio and now have a Twingo (mk2) and a Citroen Relay L3H2 camper. Its the Relay that has brought me to the French Car Forum because I'm doing a bit of updating (seats, interior lighting,...
