PHP CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619

by xantia_v6 » 21 Oct 2026, 21:49 » in Forum News, Announcements and Issues

First post

The forum was offline for an hour or so while applying the patches for this significant security weakness.

There is a possibility that some forum functions are broken, as I have not been able to do much testing.

Last post

It'll be reet!

Thanks for acting so promptly though reading up about this in more detail I think another patch will be due soon because a company called Chainguard broke an embargo with The PHP Foundation and released the patch 6 hours earlier thus giving hackers access to the patch before a dedicated deadline that had been agreed by TPHPF.

Disruption to Parts Service

As you may be aware, the consolidation of the old PSA to the Stellantis Group systems has resulted in both a merge of data tools and a requirement to migrate PSA accounts to Stellantis Systems.

This has caused some problems for organisations like ours and the Team are currently looking at the best way forward. This...

Hi It seems that a programming error may have occurred, or you did not learn everything to the UCH module, try these steps :

1. Scan for fault codes with Renault Clip to identify any issues.
2. Check wiring connections for the steering wheel lock for security and corrosion.
3. Test the steering wheel lock module separately to verify...

I signed up specially to reply to this.

The car isn't able to heat the cabin from tbe electric motor therefore if you have the heater on the petrol motor will run.

Thata why you have better consumption in summer than winter. You need a full ev if you want to heat the car with the battery. 1kw is not enough to run tbe car and heat it

Hi all. Long time since I was here. I have a 60 plate Renault laguna initiale 2.0 diesel..... the keyless entry has just stopped working on any door of the car, Inc the boot? It was all fine and starts fine without the key in the slot, and also locks fine when I walk away from the car, but it will not unlock using the keyless feature using either...

Normally there are drainage holes along the lowest edge of the doors, but over time these can get clogged with dirt.

Renault Espace 2010 2.0 TDCI

Hi all.

I hope somebody can point me in the right direction as to aftermatket window regulators. Both the N/ S rear and the N/S front window lift regulators have decided to fall apart with what looks to be junk plastic components snapping off.

I went to both GSF and Euro Car Parts to get prices for both. Both of them have without hesitation...

Renault 16 TL 1969 resto project

by felix83 » 11 Nov 2023, 22:03

First post

As a present for my 40th I got my brother's old car that he's had for about 15 years; a 1969 Renault 16 TL, allegedly with a TS engine. It's been off the road since 2015 and doesn't have a spark. The plan is to have this as a project for me and my 9 year old, with the goal of getting it through its final safety inspection. (I live in Sweden where...

Fault finding: I've established I don't have +12V to the coil with the key in the 'on' position. Will remove the ignition lock to investigate further.
Isn't it just glorious when previous owners have added additional cables just to get things to work? 🤬

Koleos II

First post

Hi, just joined the forum.
Recently purchased a 2017 Koleos Signature Nav. Going from a convertible to this, still getting used to the size.

The spec level is very decent and quite impressed so far.

Anyway, a couple of minor things

The electric wing mirrors are very slow in folding in and out and sometimes don't make it all the way. Sometimes...

Hi
I am new to this forum also.
I have 2020 Koleos GT. My mirrors fold in fine and are quite fast. Do you have wind deflectors
on your car ? I have noted from previous cars I've had , wind delfectors can effect the movement and closing. Other than that it could be the motor controlling them.

There is a video on youtube of someone replacing the...

Lucas epic problem

Can anyone help with a wiring problem please.
On a Lucas epic pump I found some bare wires hidden inside the sleeving, would these cause the pump to only supply a low pressure at the injectors or do I have a mechanical problem also. It’s the blue and the brown wires that appear to go to a solenoid between the pump and the engine also.

Megane CC Mk3 Boot Catch motor

by ChrisRobin » 04 Sep 2023, 11:49

First post

Would anyone know if the boot catch motor has a fuse, not the boot latch, it is the catch, took it to Manchester Airport left it two weeks came back to it and got a roof warning sign on dash instantly, the latch is working ok, as is the button on the boot lid, but it is not pulling the lid down now and the catch is at its bottom position when the...

Last post

FIXED!
Rather embarrassing really, a dry catch pivot.
I always lube latches, hinges, roof locks and rollers above screen, clean and krytox seals but ALWAYS forget that boot catch, why would you lube a catch you don't lube the door catches, I keep forgetting the boot catch is motorised, so if you own a Megane mk3 CC remember to lube your boot catch...

Have the fault code P1070 but cant find the MAP sensor. Must be on the inlet manifold before the turbo but where?
TIA

Well for interest the MAP sensor is at the right hand end of the inlet manifold. Held in place with one 8mm bolt. Removed tested and replaced. Fault code gone. Total cost £22.30 from partsinmotion.

Greetings,
I am a writer, and I am planning on writing something featuring a Renault Juvaquatre. I just need some information about them to complete my research. I need to know if Juvaquatre's were ever made in right hand drive. If so, what markets would they have been sold in. If there are any resources French or English, I would love to know. I...

RX4 tyre query

by paul in normandy » 02 Aug 2023, 15:44

First post

RX4 went in for CT the other day (french MOT) and was failed on the 2 rear tyres. Ordered 2 more, and when I went to the garage the mechanic (a proper mechanic not some unbarbered youth that fits tyres) said that it was advisable to replace all 4 tyres at the same time, to avoid potential problems with the gearbox / transmission.
I had never heard...

Last post

It makes sense, well almost, I can see their point when 4 wheel drive cars had 'fixed' transmissions, gears & propshafts, and it was an option to have a limited slip differential, but is it still relevant these days, where most have constant vilosity (fluid) couplings somewhere along the driveline? Just a thought.
