Sporadic beeps - 2017 Koleos

Over the last week or so I have been getting some kind of warning alert through the car system. It usually starts after I have been driving for a couple of minutes: First one beep per second, then after about 1 minute increasing to a sequence of 3 rapid beeps repeated once per second. No unusual indication on the display. Beeping continues if I stop the car, and stops if I turn off the engine. If I just keep driving, the beeping stops after about 5 minutes. I cannot find anything about this in the manual.
