So when I put the contents directly in the root, and then on the rightmost USB plug (same as for the maps), usually nothing happens even after 2min, engine on and idling without interacting the smeg unit.

Does the car have a CD drive? Is it empty?
Try inserting the stick into the socket with the engine running.
Try inserting the stick into the socket and then start the engine.

Running out of options. If you clear the stick and put MP3 files on, is the stick recognised?

Thank you for staying with me. So it did work, I assumed both of my same USB sticks were the same but something didn't work with the other.
The one used for the maps worked directly less than 2s after plugging. Have sys.vol or putting the USB stick after or before engine start doesn't play a single role. Having 64kb partitions maybe

This is my standard message to accompany that link.

The downloadable instruction guide is out of date WRT the links and you MUST use the links in the first post instead. Unfortunately I cannot update the guide as I did not write it.

You need file extensions to be visible on your computer so that you can point the code generator to the correct file. You also need Java to be installed to run the code generator. All instructions assume that you are using a Windows computer. I have no knowledge of using Mac or Linux systems.

Note that PSA has stopped issuing updates for the maps and the two most recent updates are the last that will be available. These are 2022-1 (Central Europe, Eastern Europe North East. Scandinavia, South East Europe and Eastern Europe North West) and 2023-1 (Italy, France, Spain/Portugal, Benelux, United Kingdom and Germany ONLY. NO other areas.).
So it seems the madlads over at gpsmyway managed to convert the Audi/BMW Here maps to be use on the PSA navis : https://maps.gpsmyway.com/en/map-update ... g-smegiv2/

But they gatekeep it, any way to get it, or from using the modified PSA URLs ?

I had a look at the link and I suppose that nearly 3 GB is about right for the limited number of countries that covers. As you say it's behind a paywall (because it's larger than 1 GB) so I couldn't download it. I've looked around and found another (French) site offering what seems to be the same name but this time 10 GB in size covering more countries (Andorra, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Great Britain, Ireland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland). And behind the same paywall. They also give the information that it's based on the latest BMW maps. I'll continue to look.

There are no PSA URLs as it's BMW based.

Theo Bouzigue has the 2025 maps on his website for free.
The other french site is maybe the mygpsway forums ?
10GB maps are for the other Peugeot Navi, it doesn't cover the Citroen 2010-2018 Navi, in my case. But might be helpful of people.
The 2026 Speedcams are readily available tho

If you mean https://www.theobouzige.fr/archives/6835 then this is for the MyWay/WipNav (RNEG) HU. It's also dated suitable for 2025, not 2026.

If you mean this one then possibly but I have seen no reports elsewhere of their validity. If you're willing to pay for the download please let us know how you get on. viewtopic.php?p=866262#p866262

If you mean this one then no, as I have already said. viewtopic.php?p=866272#p866272

Yes I mean to use the Peugeot Navi maps on the Citroen Navis of the same era.
RNEG/NG4, I'm not going to be complicated and just going to try.
