Hello!
I recently bought a 2013 C5 X7 touring with the 2.2 HDI and dual exhaust pipes. Really loving all the useful information on this forum, and I've been able to find a ton of answers to questions I've had so far.
My problem now is that I want to mount a detachable (preferably) tow bar / hook, but am having a hard time to find a quality brand that supply one that fits the 2.2 dual exhausts. I was looking at Westfalia, but it seems like they only offer a fixed tow hook for my car. A fixed hook isn't the end of the world, but I'd like to keep the clean look.
Thule Brink seems to have a detachable one that looks to fit, but I don't really know what the quality and fit is like. I think I read somewhere that it was Thule that was the OEM supplies, but I can't find that information again.
I also take it that getting the Citroen specific harness is much preferred with respect to both mounting and functions.
Anyone have any recommendations?

Re: Quality detachable tow bar for 2013 Citroen C5 2.2 HDI
Update:
Decided to go for a Thule Brink detachable tow hook. Now the next problem is to find the correct harness for my car. I see the parts checking is down at the moment, but maybe someone remembers which harness is the correct one for the DW12C engine? I also connected diagbox to look around and it seemed to communicate with the fuse module. Unless it's some bug (or misunderstanding), this should mean that there is a module installed already. Wouldn't surprise me since I'm in the land of towing and I could see Citroen preinstalling the fuse box. I haven't had the time to dismantle the trim and check yet.
My VIN if needed: VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

May I ask, where did you find the correct Tule detachable towbar ? I don’t think I have found that one anywhere on my searches?

Re: Quality detachable tow bar for 2013 Citroen C5 2.2 HDI
Thanks for the reply! I've read those thread back and forth and the closest I get to a part number is the one where the OP has the 2.2 HDI with dual exhausts but the 170hp engine. When I check that harness (part no. 9428F6) my engine isn't listed as compatible, so it's back to square one or a matter of ordering it and hoping for the best.
Regarding the tow bar, I would have loved to be able to get a Westfalia, but the one I ordered (one of few that seem to fit and/or not have the "not for dual exhaust models" disclaimer) was the Thule Brink 482100 detachable tow bar. I found it on a local parts website called skruvat.se, a Swedish site.
The big problem is that a ton of websites lists parts as being able to fit, but then you read the fine print and see all the exclusions / inclusions.
