Hi,
I've been browsing the forums for hours but cant figure this one out.
I'm trying to restore our 508's suspension as there are some creaks and clunks already. However, browsing partsouq.com and entering my VIN, it shows there are two different type of rear suspension for my 508. How do I identify which is the correct one?
The car is a 2013 508 2.0HDi BVA AM6 (DWCTED4)
I'm referring to this:
W2F 5 51A60A: TRAILING ARM REAR SWIVEL PIN
W2F 5 51A65A: TRAILING ARM REAR SWIVEL PIN
There are different part numbers for similar components and I would like to ensure that I order the correct one. I can post my VIN if needed.

Re: How to identify correct suspension type?
We can help if you need an original genuine part number, part diagram or factory build sheet and can't already find the info you need on the Forum. For this service, we do ask for a membership upgrade for official parts data as we are in turn charged for this. It will cover you for future part number requests for up to 2 years, so excellent value.
If interested, links are below, then provide your vehicle's VIN in full, which will be masked automatically when you submit your post.

Re: How to identify correct suspension type?
Just donated. My VIN is VF3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
Although I've done some research of my own, I'd like to see if my own part number research matches up with the experts here as I am just a beginner DIYer to a French car. I would however, still like to learn/be educated on how to identify the difference and what exactly it is I need myself with regards to the "options" such as:
W2F 5 51A60A: TRAILING ARM REAR SWIVEL PIN
W2F 5 51A65A: TRAILING ARM REAR SWIVEL PIN
I would greatly appreciate part numbers of wear/tear components for the front and rear suspension and tie rod/rod ends. These would be any of the arms that have bushings on them and the required nuts/bolts/washers that need to be replaced. Kindly include please the front and rear strut/damper and requisite replacement items for when doing struts like shock mounts, bump stop/covers, etc...
The car has never had any suspension components replaced and is already at 120,000kms and our family has owned the car since new. In Philippine roads this is already a very good life.

@GiveMeABreak
Can you also post up part numbers for the front sway bar bushings, Sway bar links and the steering rack tie rods and rod ends? there seems to be a few variations when i look it up on partsouq and i'm unsure which one to get.

In future, please use the correct thread for official parts requests (Citroen, DS Automobiles and Peugeot Official Part Number Requests) as this ensures requests are picked up.jfdelacruz17 wrote: 02 Jul 2024, 10:17 @GiveMeABreak
